The beautiful Beyonce was out in full force today launching the special edition Beyonce Upstage phone. The new "B'Phone" by Samsung is similar to the Ultra Music Phone in that it features the popular dual-face handset which everyone seems to be taking a liking to.
What's unique about this phone is the fact that it includes a digital power amp, making the sound quality quite impressive for such a small phone.

We already know that Beyonce thinks Nintendo's new Rhythm Heaven game for the Nintendo DS and DSi is very relaxing, and after watching her play the game with her nephew, I think it's safe to say she thinks it's a lot of fun too. Well, the final cut of the Rhythm Heaven commercial featuring Beyonce herself has arrived, so be sure to check it out below. And a status update on my Rhythm Heaven progress?

Promoting the new Nintendo DSi game Rhythm Heaven (available April 5), Beyonce Knowles has already said she is quite the gamer girl who especially loves Wii games. Although we have yet to see the official commercial featuring the singer and her adorable nephew Julez playing Rhythm Heaven, we got a sneak peek with some behind-the-scenes footage that you can check out below!
And to see a fun interview with Beyonce where she talks about Super Mario Bros.

Beyonce is already a well-known singer, dancer, and actress, but can we add gamer to the list? Well, since she has just been tapped to star in a Nintendo DSi commercial for the latest game to hit the console, Rhythm Heaven (which is due to hit shelves April 5), I would say the answer is yes! Not only is the game totally appropriate for the music queen, but according to an interview in Entertainment Weekly, she's an avid gamer even when away from the cameras:
On why she loves playing Rhythm Heaven: I have been having a great time.

We already know that celebs like Jennifer Garner, Britney, LC, Jennifer Aniston, Fergie and Jessica Simpson are constantly attached to their cell phones and PDAs, but this is a rare sight- Beyonce actually holding a cell phone that is (gasp) connected to an earpiece? No the paparazzi didn't catch Beyonce out for an afternoon stroll. The real reason she's all wired up is because she just landed a deal with Samsung electronics and is shown here filming the first commercial in NYC.

So now that we know Beyonce Is The New Face Of Samsung, we need to assess the goods. The first major feature of the new Samsung Ultra Music F300 cell phone that caught my eye is the dual-face handset. On one side there is a music player with a FM radio stereo, a PC sync function and an easy to use music library.

Just when I thought I wouldn't run into anyone I know at CES, guess who appears in front of my eyes on the big screen? My girl Beyoncé! So maybe she wasn't really there, but seeing her on Panasonic's gorgeous 108-inch TV on Blu-ray, made me feel like I was watching a live concert.

Looks like Vanessa Hudgens has taken a cue from Beyonce by adding a Flip Video digital camcorder to her gadget collection.
Now I can't quite place what caught her attention at LAX (or at least what's worthy of some camera-time), but I will say this — Zac seems just about as thrilled about the camera as he is about Twitter and other social networking sites!
With up to two hours of recording time on the new Flip UltraHD, Vanessa's capturing fun can last for 120 minutes — and that's even high-def quality.

We already know how much Beyonce and her nephew Julez love Rhythm Heaven for the DS, but I was curious to check it out myself to see what all the hype is about. Coinciding with the release of the new Nintendo DSi on April 5, Rhythm Heaven (which can be played on both the DS and DSi) is all about rhythm and music. Basically take the musical components of games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band, and the skill testing challenges of Brain Age, and you've got Rhythm Heaven.
