If you've always wanted to rock out like one of the most respected rappers in the music industry, then feast your eyes on these beauties - the Beats by Dr. Dre headphones. Set to make their debut this Friday, and retailing for $350 (I know, totally pricey, but hear me out before you get turned off), the Beats headphones are like what a Bentley is to cars - luxurious, high quality, and worth every penny.

Dr. Dre has teamed up with Monster to create headphones that offer deep bass, clarity and a high definition listening experience. With isolation technology, plush breathable cushions for your ears, and an included Monster iSoniTalk cable with a built-in answer button and mic for the iPhone, as I said, worth the dough-re-mi.

You'll notice in the pics below that the headphones come wrapped and packed in total perfection.

The Beats by Dr. Dre will be available at Apple and Best Buy stores. You can also get them online via these retailers as well.

HP's Envy 15 Beats LE Comes Bundled With Dre's Headphones

I'm already in love with the sound quality of Dr. Dre's Beats headphones I tested out last year, so getting a free pair with an HP computer bundle would be pretty sweet. But not just any computer of course, one that also comes with a copy of Traktor LE DJing software so I can get my scratch on at the clubs. Who am I kidding, I'm no DJ - but I'll pretend to be one once DJ Hero hits the shelves this month!

HP has announced the HP Envy 15 Beats Limited Edition (which comes stocked with the same hardware as the original Envy 15, but with a pumped up graphics card), which is perfect for DJs and producers with all of its bundled beat-loving goodies. It's pretty sleek with a glossy black finish and red logo (which you'll also find on the matching headphones), but brace yourself for the price: the Envy 15 LE will start at $2,299. . . wowzas.

My Beating Heart Pillow: Geekish or Freakish?

Aw, this makes me think of puppies needing to sleep with an alarm clock nearby so it reminds them of their mother's beating heart. Nearly as cute as that image is the My Beating Heart pillow, a plush, cuddly pillow with a heartbeat inside. They say it's not just a sound or a pre-recorded rhythm, apparently, the little computer inside syncs to your heartbeat when you turn it on and relaxes you.

It pretty much sounds like the best nap-maker ever, especially if your spooning partner is out of town. What do you think of the Beating Heart pillow? Freaking you out or mellowing you out?

I saw these hot metallic bags on popgadget and I just had to share. For $130, you can get a Rock Steady beat bag which lets you plug in gadgets like your iPod, Nano, MP3 or CD player using the included cables. This bag by lifepod is powered by four AA batteries and has water resistant stereo speakers. Yes it's true ladies, you can bust a beat with this portable boombox on your way to the gym. I've seen bags like this before, minus the speakers, which kinda look cool. Do you likey?

Pet Beat Generation Bag Trumps Non-Pet Bag

If you liked the geek chic lifepod purse we showed you yesterday and you have even slight pet-lover tendencies, you're going to go hog wild at the Beat Generation Stereo Pet Carrier. I have to admit I would have missed it were it not for Techie Diva's Gina Hughes, who admitted even though she doesn't have a dog she kinda wants her own carrier. Is it wrong I share her sentiments?

The pet-carrier was made to groove with any iPod, MP3 player, DVD and even your laptop so you can listen to music or audio books without headphones...and carrying your pooch. According to Techie Diva, the carrier was given to Oscar attendees last week at the Roosevelt Hotel, so expect to see celebrities promoting their next album at the airport. I can just see Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel toting this around with their cute pooches!

Lindsay Lohan Is a Fan of Apple but Not Its Warranty

Although Lindsay Lohan has run the gauntlet of cell phones, she's become a BlackBerry convert and sticks with Apple for her computer needs. Lindsay recently lamented on Twitter about how her MacBook took a beating during her recent travels and ended up with a cracked screen. I know how expensive replacing screens can be, and unfortunately the star had to learn the hard way that accidental breakage isn't covered on Apple's warranty or by their protection plans.

Toyota Makes Its Own Font With a Car

I've already talked about the ultra compact iQ car, the tiny hybrid from Toyota, which has already been released in Europe and Japan. Unfortunately, a similar model won't be available in the US until 2012.

But, thanks to my font-geek friends, I made this discovery: Toyota took an interactive artist, font designers, and a stunt driver, put them together, and came up with a new font, called the iQfont.

Visit Toyota's Belgian site to watch a video detailing how they came up with the font. In a nutshell, it involves cameras positioned over an open space, a Toyota iQ with four colored dots, and software that tracks the car's movement as it draws out each letter. The result is a totally unique font.

I'm not sure that this beats a font created out of my own handwriting, but it's pretty impressive.
