Found! Rooney Mara's Gorgeous, Just-Bitten Lipstick Shade

With her perfectly creamy skin, piercing eyes, and ebony strands, Rooney Mara looked almost like a present-day rendition of a Robert Palmer girl at yesterday's The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo premiere. But whereas Palmer's muses wore patent-red lipstick and heavy-handed blush and foundation, Mara's look was clean, fresh, and surprisingly simple to re-create.

"The dress was so magnificent, we just decided that she needed to look effortless, and that the lip should look 'bitten,'" explained Chanel celebrity makeup artist Kate Lee. To bring the concept to life, Lee applied the brand's Rouge Allure Velvet Lip Colour in La Somptueuse ($32), a brownish-red, as a stain. The apples of the cheeks were given a creamy glow with Kevyn Aucoin's Tresbelle blush, and black eyeliner and mascara - no eye shadow was used at all - completed the modern-classic palette.

Rooney Mara Rocks Her Latest Dramatic Dress For a NYC Dragon Tattoo Premiere

Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara made their latest The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo press stop in NYC last night. The stars of the film reconvened at the Big Apple's Ziegfeld Theatre for their stateside premiere after also showing off the film in Stockholm and London this week. Rooney's promotional tour style has included lots of cutout dresses, and yesterday's was similar. She rocked a black frock from Prabal Gurung that featured a sheer back. Her big sister, actress Kate Mara, showed her support in coral Christian Dior.

We caught up with a number of Daniel's and Rooney's costars on the red carpet. Joely Richardson said you see a lot of Daniel, the person, in this performance, while Stellan Skarsgård thinks playing Lisbeth Salander will change Rooney's life. Christopher Plummer stepped out a few hours after earning a Screen Actors Guild Award nod for Beginners. He said, though, that he doesn't celebration nominations, just wins. Additionally, Embeth Davidtz told us that Daniel's character in the movie, Mikael Blomkvist, has one important thing in common with his James Bond - they're both handsome! Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig Treat Themselves to a Romantic City Stroll

Happy couple Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig held hands yesterday while out for a walk in NYC. They're hanging out in the Big Apple a couple weeks after the rather disappointing opening of their Dream House. The Dream House reviews weren't entirely favorable, and the project won't end up as the top-grossing film in either of their careers. Dream House was important, though, since Rachel and Daniel fell in love on that set. Daniel has lots more to look forward to with production on the 23rd Bond film starting soon. Javier Bardem will play the Bond villain in the picture, tentatively called Skyfall. Daniel also has the first of the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo movies hitting theaters around Christmas. It's not a slow period for Rachel either, as she has both 360 and The Deep Blue Sea screening at the London Film Festival.

Katie Steps Out With Suri and a Henna Tattoo as Her Scary Movie Hits Theaters

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise were out and about in Beverly Hills today. Katie's currently rocking a henna tattoo around her left wrist, which her rep says is just for fun. Meanwhile, Suri also tried out a new style of her own during her outing with mom, wearing pigtails with a headband. The mother and daughter are back home in LA again after spending much of the month traveling back and forth to NYC. Since returning, Katie has been back to her West Coast routine, hitting the gym and indulging in her favorite Sprinkles cupcakes. Shirtless David Beckham Shows His Boys and Friends the Boogie-Boarding Ropes

David Beckham brought Brooklyn, Cruz, Romeo, and a group of their friends boogie boarding in Malibu on Friday. The Beckham boys have been boogie boarding all Summer right outside the Summer house they're renting while the boys have their break from school. David commutes when he has Galaxy games to play, and last weekend he stripped down on the field to reveal his new Harper tattoo in honor of his 1-month-old baby daughter. Yesterday Becks was once again showing off his famous six-pack, which has rightfully earned him a top five spot in our 2011 shirtless bracket. One Beckham we've been missing since July is Victoria, who's been sticking close to the house with her little girl. The family has shared a few photos of David and Victoria with Harper Seven, but we're excited for the day when the Beckham ladies step out on the beach with the guys. Plus, with New York Fashion Week just a month away, perhaps Victoria won't be able to resist all the action in the Big Apple.

Emma Stone Talks About Her Farmville Addiction, Tattoos, and Shares a Shot of Moonshine With Jimmy Fallon

Emma Stone stopped by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in NYC yesterday to talk about her new film The Help, and from there grabbed a bite to eat at Japonica and then went to Chelsea Piers for ice cream. During their chat, Jimmy and Emma took a shot of moonshine, a drink she often enjoyed with costar Viola Davis while filming in Mississippi, and the fun didn't stop there. Emma went on to confess that she was forced to shut down her Facebook account due to her Farmville addiction. In the spirit of sharing, Emma also gave the explanation behind her wrist tattoo, blackbird feet drawn by Paul McCartney, which her mom, brother, and dad also have inked on their arms. Emma's trip to the Big Apple follows the star-studded LA premiere Tuesday night, where Emma, Viola, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jessica Chastain, and the rest of the cast talked about bonding over Southern cooking and gaining weight for the film. The Help opened early to attract a wider audience, and it appears the marketing plan is working with estimates The Help could take in more than $30 million over the first five days. A solid opening weekend is just one more thing to celebrate this week since Emma also scored a contract as the new face of Revlon.

Ryan Gosling had a table of one yesterday for lunch at Peels in NYC. His solitude didn't last for long, though, since a group of excited fans came up to the table to get a photo with the hot actor. Ryan also had his favorite traveling companion, his dog, along for the sit-down meal. He's hanging out in the Big Apple thrilling passersby by showing off his muscular, tattooed arms when not inside doing press for Crazy, Stupid, Love. The comedy, which is out in two weeks, will be the topic of conversation at this weekend's junket, where Ryan and his costars Steve Carell and Julianne Moore will be busy doing interviews.
