Recently, a new kind of website has popped up: the drunken night aggregator (to keep yourself from being featured on the lush site du jour, do yourself a favor and refer to my tech guide for avoiding boozy situations). Embarrassing, indulgent, exploitative, and frequently hilarious, these websites are unavoidable as the passed-around link among your friends right now, but trust me — you want to avoid actually being on these websites.

I'm finally less shy about pulling my iPhone out when I'm eating dinner somewhere (of course, I do it very discreetly and quickly) — a girl's got things to do, like snapping a pic of the wine to remember one you liked.
But say you don't know what wine you will like, and you're not at a fancy joint where the word "sommelier" has ever been uttered. Or maybe you don't want to ask.

The Internet is pouring with social networks and websites dedicated to sharing drink recipes, Happy Hour tips and trendy modern ways to send your chum a brew. There's honestly a site for every drinker: Whether you like fancy cocktails, Absinthe, or just a nice cold beer.
It may be business hours right now, but you can still indulge in a looksy.

Amazon is heading up an online shopping territory not terribly well-traveled — the booze train. Yes, that's right, starting pretty soon, Amazon will start selling wine from its behemoth of a shopping site. No, no Amazon-labeled vintages (I'd love to taste the Kindle varietal) — Amazon will basically be directing its "wine traffic" to Wine.com.

From the office of Yes, Really comes this tip for maintaining maximum cell phone and laptop battery life: Real Simple advises you to swipe a cotton swab dipped in alcohol across the battery contacts (make sure it's not dripping with alcohol, I assume).
They say this helps "maintain good battery connections and sustain the charge for a longer time."

Although I haven't had a chance to dive into the full release version of Batman: Arkham Asylum since it landed in my mailbox on Monday, I did get a taste of the action while at E3. From the 15 minute demo that I witnessed, I can tell you that the game is kinda creepy, but totally awesome. .
