The upcoming royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton already has some geeky touches, but now you have a second source to go to if you want to pull an all-nighter and watch the wedding live.

Besides watching on the official wedding website, Yahoo announced its own royal wedding website this morning, which will be updated regularly with breaking news, photo galleries, videos, a guestbook, and, of course, a live stream of the nuptials on April 29. Maybe you should plan a royal wedding-themed sleepover with your pals?

Which Search Engine Do You Use Most?

Unsurprisingly, Google takes top honors when it comes to search popularity, capturing 65 percent of the US search market. But now, Microsoft's Bing has moved into the number two spot, passing Yahoo as the second most popular search engine with a 14 percent share in the market, according to recent Nielsen figures.

While Google is generally the default search engine in many browsers and mobile phones, Bing is quickly gaining ground; recently, the Samsung Fascinate shipped with Bing as its default browser, and rumors were flying that all Verizon phones would be coming with Bing as the default engine (the rumor has since been dispelled). I much prefer using Bing for travel-related searches and also for image searches but tend to use Google for everything else. What about you - which search engine do you use most?

Is Yahoo's Latest Update Competing With Google Buzz?

According to sources, Yahoo is poised to announce a new way to view Facebook content on its websites. The service will allow users to post their actions from Yahoo sites like Flickr onto their Facebook page and have their Facebook newsfeed delivered to their homepage or email, among other features to better integrate the social networking site with Yahoo's content.

Additionally, the company plans to rename Yahoo Profile pages - pages allowing users to create profiles managing their online identity and activities - to Yahoo Pulse, while adding additional privacy controls. Sources close to Yahoo say these changes will be rolled out over the next few days. Is this Yahoo's answer to Google's Buzz? Or is it just another way for users to share Facebook content they find relevant or interesting - similar to Facebook's "Like" button?

Yahoo! Unveils the Widget Channel For Televisions

I'm not really a stickler for needing to know what the weather is doing outside at all times. But for those who are (mom and dad listen-up), Yahoo! has designed a Widget Engine that allows TV viewers to access a wide range of information, all from the convenience of their TV screen. During CES last week, Yahoo! showcased the weather widget on a Sharp widget-enabled television. As you can see, a full weather forecast is conveniently displayed to the left of your screen.

These new TV Widgets will allow users to do things like interact with friends, track their stocks or favorite sports teams, or check out the latest news headlines. The Widget Channel was created by Yahoo! and Intel and can work on televisions as well as LCD TV/DVD combinations.

Human Rights Online: Tech Companies Adopt Conduct Code

Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft are set to adopt voluntary and uniform guidelines to govern their international business practices, this week. These Internet companies have struggled to find acceptable means to deal with countries like China, which silence the voice of dissidents on the Internet, and block certain websites. China has used emails sent by dissidents as evidence to put them behind bars.

Part of the code of conduct will require the companies to carefully scrutinize a government's demand for information about users, or government requests for nationwide censorship. The rules, generated by teams from the tech companies, public interest groups, academics, and socially conscious investment funds, weren't just created in the name of human rights - they're also designed to counter bad publicity surrounding tech company compliance with repressive governments.

Should international companies stay true to their hometown freedoms, or should they expect to play by the rules of all the countries where they do business?
