We may be smack dab in the middle of holiday season here on the Sugar Network, but I can't help but share with you this crazy-fun find to whet your palate for next year's wedding season. We already have enough geeky wedding ammo to fuel an entire ceremony, so this 8-Bit wedding invite is the icing on the cake (pun intended).

Complete with binary code speech bubbles, the vintage feel of this wedding invitation I spotted on BuzzFeed has me longing for my arcade days. Of course, if you do rock the old-school invite to your wedding (or DIY it for any occasion), just be sure to have some retro gaming action on hand to complete the feel. Party on!

Now that you're Mr. and Mrs., you'll want to invest in a few things for your new lives together. And where better to start than in the electronics department? I've talked at length about the benefits of having a small and compact camera around to capture great memories, and the Flip UltraHD, as well as the new (and oh-so-stylish) Olympus EP-1 fit the bill quite nicely. Of course, the pair of LCD screens are a nice touch (a waterproof number for your bathroom, and a 42-inch model for your living room), and although the George Foreman Indoor/Outdoor Grill is pretty low tech, I think it's fit for any geek-chic apartment or house out there. The mathlete in me loves countdowns. There are seven month left until Christmas. Less than 30 days until the new iPhone comes out. Four days until my new shoes arrive via UPS. Just a few hours until the season finale of Gossip Girl. You get the picture. If you aren't a numbers person naturally (hey, we can't all be Lindsay Weir) you can build anticipation for your big day - be it a walk down the aisle, high school reunion, or even the weekend - using your everyday gadgets.

Calculate Days Left From the Web: If you just want to know the number of days you have left, visit this website, type in the date and let the site's algorithms do the number crunching for you.
Install the Countdown Dashboard Widget: If you're a Mac user, install the free countdown dashboard widget. It's generic, so you set a date and time and it starts ticking. You can also set alerts. It's aces for long term goals (you have 45 days to work out before hitting the beach in that tiny bikini you just bought!) and daily reminders.
Download the iPhone Countdown Calendar: If you're an iPhone or iPod Touch user you can get your geek on with this handy app ($3).
