Jennifer Garner Spotted With Latest Cell Phone Star, Nokia E71

Somehow, the Nokia E71 got itself in front of some casting directors who declared that the smartphone was going to be a star.

First it showed up as the phone of Sandra Bullock's character in The Proposal, and now Jennifer Garner was snapped with the E71 on the set of her new movie, Valentine's Day.

So what's so appealing about the phone? It has an FM radio, a 3.2 megapixel camera (bonus: it has a second, front-facing camera for video calls and self-portraits), a full QWERTY keyboard, and it comes in white, gray, black, or red.

The other day I enlisted you guys to help me find Valentine's Day gifts for my geeky guy, and because my demands know no bounds, I still have to beg for help for V-Day. I need gifts for my girlfriends - the girls who have always stuck by me and deserve a gift showing how much I appreciate them too, whether I've been single or happily coupled. Conversation hearts and sappy songs - I can't get enough of the coming season of romance. Coupled or not, who doesn't like a good love ballad or torch song? To get you ready, iTunes has launched a Valentine's Day page with tons of music for the day, whether you're looking for tunes for a mix tape for your long-term SO, someone new, or you.

And they've also got a Valentine's Day-themed video page, too, so you can find a movie to watch that night, choose from categories such as "Classical Romance" or "Love Stinks" - whatever your mood.

Geek Tip: TiVo Guru Guide For Valentine's Day

I am so not one of those people who, when single, hates Valentine's Day. I have always loved the day, mostly because I love getting cards, candy (candy!), and little gifts. I also love pink and red hearts everywhere for a short amount of time - it's like a brief explosion of girliness and then it goes away. Another reason I have never had a chance to be bitter about Valentine's Day is that I've always had like-minded girlfriends around me who want to celebrate having each other and not necessarily a significant other. My favorite all-girls celebrations always, always revolve around a TV. Whether it's a Sex and the City DVD marathon or romantic-comedy movie fest, there's nothing better than wine, friends, and a flat screen. I miss this stuff so much that I'm making my boyfriend start a new V-Day TV tradition with me.

Here's where my other boyfriend, TiVo, comes in! TiVo has compiled a Valentine's Day Guru Guide for couch potatoes like me full of old movies and TV shows. There's a few different guides, so you can mix and match programs like Sabrina and Funny Face to your heart's desire!

More Help Needed! Valentine's Day Geek Gear For the People Responsible For My Existence

In starting to get my Valentine's Day shopping squared away, I realized how supremely unfair it is that I'm so worried about showing my boyfriend how much I love him - and yes, I remembered my girlfriends - but what about the first people who loved me? And not to get all cheesy on you, but yes, my parents. Without their loving hearts and hands and access to their old Mac computers and dot matrix printers, I wouldn't be the geek I am today.

So I want to say thank you to them, and do that by letting me teach them something for once. Yes, they taught me everything else, but it's my turn now with technology. Help me nudge them gently toward the future, whether it's iPod accessories (they both each have one), home tech, or practical gadgets - it just has to be so easy a parent could figure it out.
