I know for some of you, today might not feel like Spring. The weather around the country has been harsh, and if you're begging for the sun to peek out from behind the clouds, there are some things you can buy to make it feel a little more Spring-like all year round. Sure, it's not the same as catching some rays in the park, but at least these things may help you keep a smile on your face.

Can I now start saying that Spring has sprung? With the sun finally showing its face in my neck of the woods, it certainly feels that way. Make like the flowers are blooming on the inside as well as outside with this USB Tulip Hub ($22).

Put a mouse peripheral to work — only this guy's not for navigating around your screen; it's an adorable USB hub!
The Mouse USB Hub (each $17) houses four USB 2.0 ports and comes in green, blue, or white, so not only is it not a boring-looking but practical accessory, he adds to the cute factor of your desk.
When his little eyes light up, you won't even reconsider getting that cat.

This portable hard drive certainly looks like a yummy Kit-Kat bar, doesn't it? Designed by Sang-Hoon Lee, each piece of this concept design USB Hub is made of a modular flash drive for all your storage needs, and if my addition is correct, it includes sixteen in total. There is also a touchscreen in the center to help you organize all your files.

Here's a good gift for dad this holiday season — a 4-Port USB Hub and Alarm Clock! I can't say I've really ever had the desire to have an alarm clock, calendar, and temperature gauge attached to my laptop, but it's kinda one of those gadgets you can see a guy in your life getting all excited about. Discussed on OhGizmo!, the clock is USB powered and includes a large LCD screen with both Fahrenheit or Celsius temperatures.

I always find that extra USB ports can never go unused, especially when they come in cute styles such as this one which I saw on technabob. The USB Hub Man from Kikkerland comes with four ports, which are located at the end of his flexible arms and legs. Find all the electronics inside his cute little belly and watch for a tiny green LED light near his heart as the power indicator.

Thankfully USB Hubs have come a long way in the last year. For instance, with Belkin's wireless hub you can ditch your cords altogether, while the Rubber Duckie Hub, can add some fun and excitement to your workstation.
Similar to the infamous Twistahub, this colorful square hub includes four 2.0 USB ports, which is great if you always find yourself needing an extra port.

Designed by Cherif Morsi, the TimeCap hopes to become a burial ritual for the 21st century. The idea is that instead of putting someone’s ashes in an urn, the small USB device holds photos, sound bytes, videos, and any other type of digital media, so you can memorialize your loved ones with happy memories. You can wear around your neck and plug it in whenever you need a moment of reflection or reconnection with the deceased person.
