Geek Out With My Star Wars Roundup!

The release of the latest Star Wars movie, The Clone Wars, is coming up next week and although it's an animated feature, I'm sure it will be big - It's Lucas, so it must be. I'm not quite a Jedi Master, but I do appreciate my Star Wars entertainment like anyone else, having seen the entire series a few times, so I'm sure I'll be checking out the movie. I'm hoping to see a few Sith Lords and Storm Troopers waiting in line on opening night (fingers crossed), so I'll be sure to have my camera ready! 5 Movies We'd Like to Play On Kinect

Our long wait for the Kinect Star Wars game is finally over! Landing on store shelves today, non-Jedis can now use the Force to battle Darth Vader himself, fly through pod races, and dance the Clone War battles away in groovin' competitions.

After months of waiting, we're excited for the motion-based Star Wars game, but it has us wondering what other movies would make thrilling Kinect games. We're adding these movies to our Kinect dream list; what movie would you like to play a part of in Kinect?

Harry Potter - There's an amusement park in Florida and a studio tour in London, but for fans that can't travel to these destinations, casting spells and vanquishing Dementors the Kinect way would be just as wizardly.
The Hunger Games - A story with the premise of adolescents killing other adolescents as part of a nationwide reality TV show is disturbing, and any video game would be just as gruesome to imagine. However, just the talents exhibited by Katniss, like archery and hunting, could make for interesting interactive role-play.
Lord of the Rings - Enter Mordor? No problem in Kinect form! If you've read all the books and obsessively watched all the movies, a Kinect game of the hobbits' journey is the last step in a complete Middle Earth adventure.

Disney-fied Star Wars Action Figures Coming to Disney Parks

If a trip to a Disney park is included in your Spring break plans, in between Star Tours and It's a Small World, find time to track down the latest Star Wars action figures, exclusive to the amusement parks. Animated Disney characters get into cosplay gear to fill some powerful Star Wars shoes.

Donald Duck's nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, dress as Tatooine natives Jawas and are even pictured hard at work fixing a busted droid. Not available in stores or online, the figurines are only found at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

It's almost time - the Nintendo 3DS launches this weekend! I've had a few days to get to know the unit, and while I'm admittedly a Nintendo kind of gal, it's definitely exceeded my expectations with this console. Find out more about it below!

Price and Availability
The new Nintendo 3DS will hit stores this Sunday, March 27 for $250.

Trade-Ins and Credits
Want to trade up for the newest version? Here's what you need to know:

Walmart - Starting this Sunday, you can trade in a used Nintendo DS model for up to a $100 credit toward the 3DS at authorized Walmart locations.
Target - Starting on Sunday, you can trade in any used Nintendo DS system for up to $50 in credit toward the purchase of a 3DS, or any other purchase in Target stores.
GameStop - Trade in your used Nintendo DSi XL for $100 in reservation credits, your DSi for $75, and your DS for $50 to put toward the purchase of a new 3DS.
