Friends, something huge happened on The Simpsons the other night. Yes, Bart Simpson got a cell phone! The episode started off with him being depressed about not having a cell phone (as I'm sure most kids are these days when in the begging process), and then getting one under an unusual - and hilarious - circumstance. Particularly I love the way Bart takes to having a cell phone right away, with the stereotypical "cell phone guy" hand gestures.

Stars! They have dating issues just like us. The latest on the Jessica Simpson-Tony Romo breakup is that there was a cell phone skirmish involved; supposedly ex John Mayer's texts may have come between the two (you'd think Mayer would have learned his lesson about technology's role in a breakup).

I've seen more than a few couples have issues over an ex still texting someone, and last week, I saw it on TV as well, when Cole on NYC Prep suggested that his on-again girlfriend Taylor tell her in-between Lothario Sebastian to stop texting her.

Most people stop calling each other after a breakup, but the low-pro status of texting sometimes remains a tempting way to stay in touch. But have you had to tell anyone - ex or otherwise - to stop sending you text messages?

Totally Geeky or Geek Chic? Simpsons Xbox 360

Why does this just make sense... Homer Simpson and Xbox joining together to bring you this bright yellow, Simpsons themed Xbox 360. The new Xbox will be hitting stores during the summer months as the company will be partnering with FOX to help promote 'The Simpsons' Movie. Although it's only the 20GB Xbox 360 Pro instead of the Elite, I imagine it is still going to make a few gamers drool. I mean, 89 percent of Xbox gamers love the Simpsons right? Isn't being Simpsons-obsessed a prerequisite to owning an Xbox? What do you think, too geeky or kinda chic?

Simpsons Cell Phone - Can You Handle It?

Samsung has unveiled a limited edition phone to promote the "The Simpsons Movie," an upcoming film based on the beloved and what seems to be never-ending animated TV series. While I'm entertained by the novelty of designer cell phone combos (think: LG's Prada phone or David Beckham's MOTORAZR) I'm not particularly impressed by the idea of carrying anything that says "I love the Simpsons so much, I bought a special phone."

The phone is the same bright yellow color as the Simpsons characters' skin, and will feature the movie's logo and the words "Special Edition." It will come pre-loaded with exclusive content from the film, which comes out in June.

I worry this is the future of cell phones. While the Apple iPhone is sleek and without major branding, this Simpsons phone looks like something they try and sell you in the check out aisle at the grocery store. Perhaps I'm just not part of the Simpsons culture.

Jessica Simpson Is Mac Tech Support on I Get That a Lot

To round out a day of jokes on April Fools' Day, CBS's I Get That a Lot prank show featured celebrities working regular-guy jobs and pretending to not be their recognizable selves. My favorite was Jessica Simpson as IT, helping out customers with support for their Macs at a place called Mac Enthusiast. Of course, she acts just as ditzy as you'd expect, and is actually quite funny. Check her out getting her geek on - black nerd glasses and all - below.

Pop rock singer Ashlee Simpson recently caught up with AOL's Switched to talk about all things tech. . . Including her love for her BlackBerry Curve and how she can't wait to get an iPod touch- If Mayer can get an Air, Simpson can surely get a Touch! Here are some of the highlights from the interview:

On what gadgets she takes with her during her down time (tapings, appearances, etc): "My iPod, knitting needles, and yarn."
The cell phone she has right now and what she loves or hates about it: "The BlackBerry Curve - I love the camera feature."
The longest time she had ever spent playing a video game in one sitting and what it was: "I played Tony Hawk for 75 hours."
On whether she's a Mac or a PC girl and why: "Mac - it's more user-friendly."
