Meet Tenori-on: A New Digital Instrument
The internet has been abuzz about Tenori-on, which is being called "a new digital musical instrument for the 21st century." The device was created by media artist Toshio Iwai and Yamaha and is made up of a unique 16 by 16 LED button matrix performance instrument with a visual display. It provides six different performance and sound/light modes that combine to create a rich and complex musical expression.
