Because I don't have a car (public transportation all the way!), I haven't jumped on the GPS train as quickly as everyone else. But when I do get behind the wheel, there's nothing more satisfying than knowing there's a slim to nil chance I'm going to get lost. I've used GPS devices before, and I love them!

I'm all for GPS devices, but I just love the idea of using navigation services on your cell phone, so you don't get stuck carrying around another device. Already compatible with the T-Mobile G1, various BlackBerry phones and the iPhone, the TeleNav GPS Navigator app will soon be available to use on the MyTouch 3G smartphone.
Starting tomorrow, customers will be able to test drive the TeleNav navigation app free for 30 days and then it will be $10 after that.

Some amazing new cell phones — like the Sony Ericsson Idou and the HTC Magic — emerged from the MWC this week.
With so many new handsets being announced, I enjoy finding out what features are being integrated into the latest and greatest devices. And one of the most popular trends this year is GPS functionality.

How in the world did we survive before GPS, seriously? Whenever I do get behind the wheel of a car, I am always dependent on TeleNav's GPS Navigator, which conveniently works with my BlackBerry so I don't have to lug around a huge device. But when I'm in a new city, it's always good to have something with a wider screen so I can follow my route a bit easier.
