Be it a work or personal computer, the task of transferring large media from one computer is usually much more complicated than the simplicity of the request. Two products from technology accessories company j5create promise to make file exchange as simple as a trip down a wormhole. A recipient of a CES 2012 Innovation Award, the Wormhole Station is a laptop docking station that shares the keyboard and mice functions across two computers simultaneously for drag-and-drop file transfers at superfast 5Gbps speed, which the company claims is about 160 songs per second. It includes outlets for USB 3.0 and memory card readers so that media from other devices is just as easily shareable among two desktops.

Should computer-to-computer file transferring be more of an occasional need - updating mom's iPhoto with pictures of the annual family vacation stored on your computer, for instance - opt for the Wormhole Switch. The single USB cable shares files of up to 480Mbps across laptops, desktop computers, Android devices, and iOS devices; no extra software needed.

The Wormhole Station is $130, and the Wormhole cables range in price between $25 for a PC-to-PC set, $30 for PC-to-Android, and $35 for Mac compatibility. Does Wormhole sound like an easier solution to the common flash drive or external hard drive or the how-do-I-share-content dilemma?

If you must hit the Cyber Monday sales on the boss' dime today, do so with caution. Here, a few tips to keep your online shopping habit a secret from the higher ups in your office.

Toggle screens - Quickly toggle between open applications with the Alt + Tab (for PC) or Open Apple + Tab (for Mac) keystrokes. This will allow you to quickly switch from your open web browser and work applications when you hear the boss tromping down your aisle.
Use your desktop wallpaper - Take a screenshot of an important spreadsheet, document, or collection of open applications and set it as your desktop wallpaper. Commence shopping. If someone approaches, use the keystroke of Windows + D on your PC or F11 on your Mac to switch focus to your desktop, which will conveniently be populated with your busywork instead of a photo of your boyfriend, dog, and/or kids.

You're supposed to watch saturated fat and eat lots of vegetables — that's why you usually pick up a salad for lunch and dinner (even when the kids get burgers). But you're not obsessed with the scale like some women you know. You brush your teeth twice a day, and you last flossed, oh, maybe two weeks ago. You exercise but avoid lifting so you don't bulk up. The tummy pains you got last week? Must have been gas — nothing serious. And hey, you'd like to get 8 hours of sleep, but the days are short, and it's hard to get everything done. Sound familiar? These so-called "good" habits may actually be derailing your health. Here, experts share the surprising things you're doing wrong — and how to recover.

1. You Always Order a Salad
Don't assume that bowl of lettuce is always the healthiest menu pick.

Truth is, a lot of take-out and restaurant salads are basically a burger in a bowl, says Brie Turner-McGrievy, RD, clinical research coordinator for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) in Washington, DC. That's because add-ons like fried chicken, croutons, and full-fat dressing pack major calories, fat, sodium, and other unhealthy nutrients. One example: McDonald's Bacon Ranch Salad with Crispy Chicken and Newman's Own Ranch Dressing has 540 calories and 35 grams of fat; a Big Mac has 540 calories and 29 grams.

The fix: Don't scratch take-out salad off your menu; just use a few common sense rules before you order. Avoid high-fat add-ons such as sour cream, extra cheese, croutons, bacon bits, and creamy dressings like Caesar and ranch. Opt for salads that aren't just a fiber-free mound of iceberg lettuce dotted with a few carrot and red cabbage shavings. And plan ahead: Most fast-food chains supply nutritional info online so you can scout out the best options before you leave.

2. You Rock Out While You Work Out

Check the volume on your iPod or MP3 player, advises Andrew Cheng, MD, an otolaryngologist at New York Medical College. The normal range of an MP3 player is 60 to 120 decibels; persistent exposures above 85 may cause hearing loss. iOS 4.3 Is Available to Download Now: Here's What It Comes With

After a few rumored false starts yesterday, the iOS 4.3 update is now available to download on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch via iTunes. We got an idea of what to expect in the update during last week's iPad 2 event, but in case you missed it, here's the rundown on what it's packing:

Safari performance - The new Nitro JavaScript engine inside Safari will make it twice as fast and responsive as it was in 4.2.
iTunes home sharing - Play your iTunes library from anywhere in your home with a shared WiFi connection. Play a movie from your PC on your iPad (or vice versa), or stream songs from your iPhone to your Mac computer.
AirPlay - This update provides improvements including audio and video streaming from apps, allowing you to shoot video with your iPhone and instantly share on your HDTV.
iPad side switch - Make the choice between a mute or screen rotation lock on the iPad side switch!

Which browser reigns supreme among GeekSugar readers? Google Chrome! When we asked, almost half of you said you use Chrome; Firefox pulled a close second.

Firefox and Chrome take top honors at Sugar HQ, too - even though most of us are working on Mac laptops. I also find it interesting that most of you choose to use a browser that doesn't come preinstalled on a laptop (that is, unless a whole lot of you are rocking the Cr-48). I'm in the midst of making the switch from Firefox to Chrome, and I'm already amazed at how much I've noticed each browser's slight differences and nuances.
