More than anything else, your wedding should reflect your personality. Whether that happens to include a retro vibe, country feel, or come packed with geeky touches, it's all about you and your partner. Take for example, these genius centerpieces I came across on Flickr that show off one couple's commitment to gaming. The Super Mario Bros Super Star, Piranha Plant, and Fire Flower centerpieces could add a geeky touch to any wedding, but when combined with other SMB elements, can totally show off your Mario love, and take your wedding into geek overdrive.

Especially made from Etsy seller SketchCustoms circa 2010, crafty geeks could attempt to DIY their own - and save a few bucks in the process - by using construction paper, some Styrofoam (or even better, floral foam, since you can reuse it for homemade flower arrangements, or donate to your local flower shop later), and some elbow grease.

Get ready to battle Koopas in style as Converse Japan is planning another Super Mario Bros. shoe collaboration. The One Star Super Mario Bros. OX low-top sneaker is slated to hit Japanese retail stores this March.

Available in black or white leather, the shoe looks similar to the original design at first glance, ideal for people who aren't looking to take their video game fanaticism to the extreme. On closer inspection, you can see the Converse star logo is the star from Super Mario Bros. and the characters themselves appear in familiar midgame poses at the shoe's heel. Earlier today, Nintendo unveiled its latest console, the Wii U, but also told us about a few of the new games being created for the Nintendo 3DS, two of which are Super Mario and Mario Kart. Hold On to Your Tanooki Suits: Super Mario 3DS Making Appearance at E3

Ever since the Nintendo 3DS hit the streets, I've been itching for a new Mario game to play. Turns out, there's a brand new one on the horizon that will make its first appearance at E3 this June.

According to Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto, Super Mario 3DS (which will launch sometime this year) will be like a combination of Super Mario Galaxy and the N64 version of Super Mario, but it will be much easier to play thanks to the 3D nature of the portable console. "For example, the floors floating in space: in 2D it’s difficult to judge the distance, but in 3D it’s really easy." I'm so excited to get my hands on it. Look for more details to come!

Choosing just one Mario game as my favorite is a tough call. You guys chose Super Mario Bros. 3 as your fave during last year's bracket, but I have to say Super Mario Galaxy is pretty fantastic and could take the cake for me. Mario franchise creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, recently sat down to chat with USA Today during the 25th anniversary celebration of Super Mario Bros. and disclosed his favorite Mario game of all time. What's Your Favorite Mario Game?

For some crazy reason I've been craving a good Super Mario Brothers 3 games session! I haven't played since I had to sell my NES to get my hands on a N64, so instead of just downloading the game onto my Wii's Virtual Console, I've been spending a bit more time than usual on eBay searching for an old system and copy of the game (what can I say, I'm nostalgic) to whisk me back to simpler times.

Since me and the plump plumber have had a long-standing relationship, I wanted to see how many of you heart the little Italian man and all the trouble he gets into. Can you name your favorite Mario game of all time? I know it's a tough decision, but cast your vote and tell me why you love it the most in the comments below!

How-To: Make Your Own Mario Star Nano Case

I've featured some cool DIY projects, as well as some interesting iPod cases on the site before, but I don't think I've ever seen anything like this mashup! I caught this How-To on Crafty Crafty yesterday morning, and thought that if you were as much as a Mario fan as I am, that you'd flip over this adorable Mario Super Star Nano case, too. Although I've yet to try my hand at the project, I've certainly got it on my to-do list for the next time I'm stuck indoors, and will be keeping an eye out for some bright yellow felted fabric on my next trip to the fabric store!

Thankfully, the crafty maker posted a super in depth how-to on Cut Out + Keep so we can all get our sew on and keep our precious iPod Nanos nice and warm!
