When I lived with three roommates in close quarters, we used to compare ourselves to the Golden Girls. I was Dorothy. Now I think I relate more to The Flintstones with my husband calling my name in the "WILMAAAAA" fashion and my babe banging her fork and spoon on the table.

I haven't watched an episode of The Simpsons in years but the marketing geniuses behind The Simpsons Movie have sure changed my mind about wanting to watch them on the big screen. After converting 7 Elevens into Kwik-E-Marts and naming the official Springfield in Vermont, the latest and greatest gimmick was to go way chic. In this month's Harper's Bazaar, Bart's favorite supermodel, Linda Evangelista, hosts the Simpsons family overseas. They check out all the top designers and even get to play dress up. My two favorites, Chanel and Versace, are below. How smashing is Marge?!? As for Donatella, she must be proud of how nice they were to her. She looks fabulous in cartoon form.

What's the Diff: Cholesterol and Saturated Fat

This whole business with saturated fat and cholesterol is totally confusing, so let me try and clear things up.

Blood cholesterol refers to your cholesterol level - you know - the numbers you get from your doctor when you get your cholesterol checked. Your total cholesterol should be less than 200 mg/dL -- HDL (good) cholesterol level should be 40mg/dL or greater and LDL (bad) cholesterol should be 130 mg/dL or less.

Cholesterol is a waxy substance made by the liver and it's used by the body to make hormones, vitamin D, and other materials. It is essential to your body to function normally, and your body makes enough.

You can also get cholesterol from the food you eat, called dietary cholesterol. It's only found in animal products such as meat, poultry, seafood, eggs and dairy. It is especially high in egg yolks and organ meats such as liver, brains and kidneys.

If you get too much dietary cholesterol (over 300mg a day) the extra cholesterol will accumulate in the walls of the blood vessels, making your LDL (bad) blood cholesterol levels rise. Over time, your arteries will become narrower, which can cut off the blood supply to your heart (causing a heart attack), or your brain (causing a stroke).

Saturated Fat is not essential to your body. It is found mainly in animal products such as meat, poultry, and dairy. All of these foods also contain dietary cholesterol. Palm oil, palm kernel oil, and coconut oil also contain saturated fats. Unfortunately, a lot of processed foods like cookies and crackers contain these oils. Saturated fats raise LDL (bad) cholesterol levels more than dietary cholesterol itself, so they're the ones to watch out for. The RDI of saturated fat is 20g or less.

Fit's Tips: The amount of cholesterol found in foods is not as important as the amount of saturated fat. So check labels - on the box it may say "No Cholesterol," but if you check the nutritional info, it may still contain saturated fat from those hidden oils. Aren't companies so trustworthy?

Simpsons Cell Phone - Can You Handle It?

Samsung has unveiled a limited edition phone to promote the "The Simpsons Movie," an upcoming film based on the beloved and what seems to be never-ending animated TV series. While I'm entertained by the novelty of designer cell phone combos (think: LG's Prada phone or David Beckham's MOTORAZR) I'm not particularly impressed by the idea of carrying anything that says "I love the Simpsons so much, I bought a special phone."

The phone is the same bright yellow color as the Simpsons characters' skin, and will feature the movie's logo and the words "Special Edition." It will come pre-loaded with exclusive content from the film, which comes out in June.

I worry this is the future of cell phones. While the Apple iPhone is sleek and without major branding, this Simpsons phone looks like something they try and sell you in the check out aisle at the grocery store. Perhaps I'm just not part of the Simpsons culture.

Jessica Simpson stepped off of a private plane in LA yesterday while her fiancé, Eric Johnson, followed behind carrying her bags. The couple made a quick trip to Indianapolis, where they watched the Super Bowl from a private box. They were just two of many celebrities at the Super Bowl this year, including Chace Crawford, Nina Dobrev, and Matthew Bomer. Jessica and Eric were rooting for the Patriots, but the New England team was defeated by the NY Giants in the final minutes of the game. Eric is a former NFL player himself, having been on the 49ers and the Saints during his seven-year career.
