Although Steve announced its release yesterday at the Let's Rock presentation, I got a chance to play with the newest game to hit the App Store at the Spore Release party last week. Spore Origins officially launched for the iPod Touch and iPhone on Monday and comes in at a cool $10 for your gaming pleasure.
Although the full version of Spore on your Mac or PC will take you all the way through Cell to Space stages, Spore Origins is condensed down into 30 levels in the Cell stage only (which was one of my faves anyway).

Palm's Pixi, just landed in stores across the country, and it's already dropped to $25 on Amazon. That's right, if you sign up for a new two-year contract plan from Sprint, you can save quite a bit of money off the original price tag. I know most of you weren't over excited about the Pixi, but for $25, I can't help but recognize this impressive deal.

With the much anticipated Windows 7 going on sale today, I'm sure you can't wait to have some friends over, pull out some chips and salsa, and throw a Windows 7 launch party — am I right or am I right?! If Microsoft's original video on how to host a Windows 7 launch party was too boring for you, why not check out Funny or Die's hilarious Windows 7 torrenting party parody vid which I happened to catch on Gizmodo? You can watch both below — enjoy!

Yesterday, FitSugar brought a fun product over to my desk — this cute bomber style ski jacket. At first glance I thought it was just a jacket, but little did I know that this Radiance Jacket from Mountain Hardwear is outfitted with all the necessary gear to heat up the jacket and to charge your gadgets, you know. .

Get ready for another smartphone to take the world by storm — the BlackBerry Storm2 will be making its way to Verizon stores this Wednesday and will cost $180 on a two-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate.
The second generation BlackBerry Storm is said to include many improvements from its predecessor, like the addition of WiFi, and a better, more responsive touchscreen. Oh and all of those annoying bugs and that the original BlackBerry Storm couldn't seem to shake?

Eight years ago today, Apple announced the first iPod — what you may recognize now as a 5G clunky gadget with a click wheel. The original iPod held 1,000 songs and weighed 6.5 ounces (current iPod classics hold 40,000 songs and weigh just under five ounces).
In the past eight years, the iPod has seen many changes — it's kind of unbelievable that now a tiny shuffle can hold nearly as much music as the original!

I've managed to do it again — stumble across yet another charging station to add to my ever-expanding collection.
Except this time, this charging dock — a place your cell phone, iPod, and camera can call home — is only $12, and that's the original price tag! The Zone Gadget Charging Station is guaranteed to keep your gadgets nice and juiced up, and in one central location, so you'll never have to search for your lost MP3 player again.

I once asked you if you would jump on board if Polaroid were revived — an overwhelming amount of you said yes. Well hold on to your hats, photo geeks, cause it's on its way! At a press conference today in Hong Kong, Polaroid announced that they will be re-launching the One Step camera and allowing The Impossible Project (a group of former Polaroid employees who have been working to revive the medium and who also released the last of the instant film to Urban Outfitters earlier this year) to produce a limited amount of instant black and white and color film in 2010.

I'm already in love with the sound quality of Dr. Dre's Beats headphones I tested out last year, so getting a free pair with an HP computer bundle would be pretty sweet. But not just any computer of course, one that also comes with a copy of Traktor LE DJing software so I can get my scratch on at the clubs.
