May 16 2008 - 9:00am How can a girl who is such a handbag aficionado not have an equally stylish laptop bag? This is the question I thought of when I saw Nicole Richie carrying around her MacBook Pro to her DUI class, no laptop bag or sleeve in sight.
I know Nicole shells out for Balenciaga, so maybe she just needs someone to point her in the direction — maybe a YSL laptop carrier, or a gorgeous Bottega Veneta?
I haven't nought one yet!
Mainly, it's because it's hard to find sweet ones! And most of the ones Geek shows us on here won't ship to Canada or are just too darn expensive!
YES - only when i'm at my uni library and i need to get more books. i bring all my valuables- wallet, cellphone and laptop and leave all my notes, books on the table so it doesn't get taken
while in gone getting my books!
As a gal who works in the internet industry, my laptop is everything so I ALWAYs have it in a protective cover. I'm surprised she is carrying that huge laptop. I think she should get the YSL
bag.
Only once: when checking in at London Heathrow, I could not have two carry-ons, so I had to take my laptop out of my briefcase, put the briefcase in my luggage, and continue with my naked
laptop and purse. How that did not equal two things beats me.
I don't own a laptop bag yet since I never take my laptop anywhere; I do own a messenger bag that it would fit in however I would love to buy a stylish laptop carrier.
Do You Ever Carry Around Your Laptop Naked?
Yes... in more ways than one.
This may be TMI, but sometimes I'm naked while I'm carrying my laptop around naked. But only in the privacy of my own home with the curtains closed. Heehee.
I didn't take my precioussss anywhere outside of home until I bought a protective sleeve for it, though. Just as I don't go outside until I put some clothes on.
i notice a lot of people lug them around naked at conferences but i'm a clutz and would inevitably damage it some how. i recommend a sleeve for those quick runs and a bag every other time.
but always cover up!
I have changed bags many times depending on what I'm wearing. All bags are not always especially made to a hold laptop so I'm VERY careful. I want the perfect laptop bag but I haven't found
it yet. I'm a Business Systems Architect and I would be in $!@%*! trouble if I damaged my laptop.

Only in my living room, late at night when the curtains are closed (to keep out any pesky peepers).
But I sometimes get burned.
2The only time I take it anywhere naked is in between my classes.
3Gross!
4maybe she's just showing it off...
5Hahaha - I completely misinterpreted 'Do you ever carry around your laptop naked?'.
I then went on to misread the first poll option as: Yes, AND I have been known to occasionally take my laptop places without a case.
I clearly have a major case of Friday-itis.
6Always use protection!
7Only in an emergency. Other than that it is covered at all times when not in use =)
8Nope.

15H*LL NO! My MacBook Pro is way too important to me!
16I only carry around like that at home. Any time it leaves my place, it goes with protection.
17Can't say I leave the house with my laptop naked. I like to protect my belongings.

19I can see smudges on her MBP
20It's a Noooooooooooooo Goooooooooooo
I don't even own any cases for it...
Yes, it has smudges and spots all over it, but it gives it character!
21I've had my laptop for nearly 2 years but finally got a bag for it last week..
22at first i kind of misinterpret the topic at first and thinking to myself "yes, many times i've been naked with my laptop" =X

24I rarely take my laptop out of the house but if I do I use a vera bradley bag since I still haven't purchased an actual notebook bag.
