Jun 26 2007 - 9:45am Who says Oscar winning actresses can't be gamers? Nintendo has picked Nicole Kidman to lead a print and television ad campaign for "More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain?" The game launches across Europe on the Nintendo DS on June 29, which just happens to be the
iPhone release date in the US.

This looks like a really boring game. It even looks like Nicole Kidman is bored...and she's getting paid.
1I actually would like one of these just for this game. =)
2Nicole looks *soooo* old. She probably does need one of these.
3I think Nicole looks gorgeous, and the Brain Age games are much more fun than they look. Sudoku on the DS is addictive.
4I would nerver thought about a connexion between Nicole Kidman and Nintendo but after seeing the ad it kinda work.
5Brain Age is a great game, it's not boring at all. I bring the DS with me on all my business trips. It keeps me entertained on my 14 hour flights to Australia!
6she just dosent seem to fit the part.
7i tottally afree that someone younger should have done it and i think nintendo shouldnt try and find a new audience. they need to stick to the younger audience.
I'm sure Nicole just heard of Nintendo. Whatever. She looks nice
8she's soooo classy.
9When I get my DS Lite (one day), BrainAge will probably be the first game I get.
10Brain Age is definitely fun to play. It's more fun when you play against others, but it's still entertaining. And researchers in Japan have proven that it can prevent Alzheimer.
11she looks so classy
12LOOOOOVE HER!!!! i'm very surprised by this though. she looks beautiful
13she looks GORGEOUS!
my mom wants it now. so do my sisters.
14and Nicole's good enough for the role. Like Nintendo said, she has the "universal appeal.' - so anyone would like to buy anything she endorses.
Remember Chanel 5? How many of those did I get for christmas? Five.
15Hmmm...Interesting job.
16oh my goodness, i'm SUCH a nerd, but i kind of bought the DS just BECAUSE of brain age. one of my friends got one and i tried it out and got hooked. it's fantastic for improving your concentration, and i love doing memory and quick math
17brain age is SO addicting! i love it & i love nicole kidman!
18I wish I could watch the ad at work...I'll have to wait until I get home tonight.
19Maybe they picked her to get some older people hooked on Nintendo. I think it's a good move.
20Nicole Kidman and Nintendo? Okay, that is a weird combination...and I like both of 'em....
21I remember reading somewhere that they wanted to market to middle aged women. Kidman was a good choice.
22it actually makes sense if they are trying to appeal to the older thatn 20 crowd...at least I think so. If they wanted more teens then Hayden would be an awesome choice.
23i agree that they should've gotten someone else, but anyone else i can think of is maybe too young for a new approach to their ad campaign?! Maybe they should have Sean Connery or someone really old...or someone famous using it during filming or something like jessica alba said she does. I don't know. I can think of so many different people that i'd rather see in this. i like nicole kidman but yeah...this wouldn't make me want to play that game.
24I'm so in love with her accent lol
25Nicole as usual looks great! I also agree that its rad that Nintendo is reaching out to all age groups with their gaming. The Wii has really made people....who normally would have never touched a gaming console ....want to play Wii bowling until their arm falls off.
26If Nintendo can get my Dad to play video games...they can do anything.
That game she's playing in the add is also way fun.
Also....I love that Nintendo would put an actress like Nicole in their adds. It really adds a touch of class....I dought you'll be seeing her in a X-box add anytime soon, or any non action movie actor.
27That's really great she is a very classy woman also.
28she looks so classy and elegant.
