Although I've said before that I wouldn't ditch my computer for a slim and watered-down netbook, I can see the appeal. For some folks, toting around a five pound machine conjures up thoughts of neck stiffness and shoulder realignments, while spending upwards of $1700 for an ultra-light MacBook Air can really break the bank, especially in these volatile economic times. And whether or not Steve Jobs thinks that netbooks are gaining in popularity, the fact remains that they are! So if you are going to spend your hard earned cash on a tiny mini netbook, the least I could do is help you decide which one is right for you. Zambos and Siega's Mini Monster Tote is a laptop bag I'm making sad goo-goo eyes over on the Internet - I don't want to see what shameful thing I'd be reduced to if I actually saw it in real life.

The turquoise leather is what's doing it for me - it has that pop-becomes-a-neutral quality that's important for bags in general.

But look, if I got the tan one, I wouldn't exactly be complaining. Price? Way too scandalous to list here.

Best Buy to Get Nokia's Booklet 3G on Nov. 15

The wait is almost over for Nokia's mini laptop - the Booklet 3G. With features like Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, a 10.1-inch display, Windows 7, and 12-hour battery life, this tiny yet tech-filled netbook has been inching its way to the top of many holiday wish lists this year.

Well now you can really start saving up your pennies, but it's just been announced that the Booklet 3G will be coming to Best Buy stores on Nov. 15 and will cost $300 with a two-year AT&T data contract or $599.99 without. Amazing.

HP Keeps the Netbook Train Moving With Two New Minis

Computers are totally fashionable, folks. Vivienne Tam impressed us all with her chic new HP digital clutch design at this year's Fashion Week, but HP couldn't get enough and debuted two more sleek and stylish Minis this week for you to drool over.

The HP Mini 110 (due out Sept. 23) has had a makeover by artist and designer Tord Boontje, and comes with 15 custom wallpapers, screensavers, and desktop themes all designed by Tord himself, while the Mini 311 ($329) has the classic swirls from the 10-inch Mini 1000 we all know and love, but in crisp, snowy white. The 311 got a screen and graphics boost as well, coming in with a HD 11.6 inch display and an upgraded NVIDIA ION graphics card.

Nokia Introduces Its Own Netbook, the Booklet 3G

Welcome the latest netbook to the fold: the Nokia Booklet 3G.

The cell phone maker is dropping its offering to the market with the Booklet, (which they're calling a mini laptop), which has a 10.1-inch display, 2.7 lb aluminum body, integrated 3G wireless, 12-hour battery life, Bluetooth/WiFi connectivity, and Windows 7.

This is a strong addition to the netbook game - and it doesn't look too shabby either, with its option of black, blue, or silver exterior. Stay tuned for pricing and release dates.

A Sneak Peek of Mulberry's Accessory Collection For Apple

Yesterday at the Mulberry Store in London, England, stars came out to set sight on the British fashion brand's latest accessory line, which consists of laptop bags, sleeves, mini messengers, and iPhone/iPod Touch cases. FabSugar UK admits that this is a good partnership between the two companies and I'd have to agree with her. This nine-piece collection will feature bags with Mulberry's signature icons like the Bayswater for women and the Brynmore for men.

The items are available now from selected Mulberry stores, or you can wait until Dec. 1 when they'll be available online from the Apple store.

Mulberry to Unveil MacBook Designed Bags and Sleeves

Starting the beginning of December, the luxury English fashion line Mulberry will be debuting their new collection, which consists of nine pieces that are specifically designed for the MacBook and MacBook Pro. The collection also includes some mini cross-bags for the iPhone or iPod touch, with bags featuring Mulberry's signature icons like the Bayswater for women and the Brynmore for men.

The company's creative director, Emma Hill, had this to say about the collection:

"Mulberry have a legacy of craftsmanship and I'm thrilled to launch our first luxury collection for a whole host of Apple products including the MacBook, iPhone and iPod."

And just to jog your memory, Mulberry is the maker behind the drool-worthy $2000 laptop bag, so you can expect to pay anywhere between $250 and $1195 for these leather bags as well. Items can be found on Apple's website and Mulberry's website starting Dec. 1.

You finally get whisked away to that tropical island you've been fantasizing about behind your cubicle, but once you get there, you're forced to ask strangers to take some romantic shots of you and your beau. Other options include setting up a mini tripod, do the "hold out the arm and hope for the best shot," find a steady surface and 10-9-8 run to get that perfect picture, or you can get a random to play paparazzi.

When the adorable Seal and Heidi Klum attended the Emmys on Sunday, Seal got creative by capturing the photo himself on his iPhone as the two shared a kiss. But while watching the French Open (yes they managed to tear themselves away from their laptops), Eva Longoria and Tony Parker asked a total stranger to do the honors for them. I'd say I'm a good combo of both methods, what about you?
