Featured on The Daily Geek, this ginormo card can tape up to four hours of high def video in AVCHD normal mode, and approximately 3 hours of 1920 x 1080i full High Definition video in AVCHD fine mode.
MicroSD Card Cell Phone/Camera Strap

I can't say I regularly tote around miniSD cards, but if this fun holder could carry a USB stick, I'd be all for it. These card eating straps which I saw on OhGizmo! can be attached to cell phones and cameras so you know exactly where your memory card is at all times. Maybe not as bling as the Louis Vuitton charm but much more practical and user-friendly than the cell phone cuffs! Priced at $10.

View 4 Photos ›

First Impressions of the HTC Snap

The HTC Snap has been in stores since the beginning of June, but I wanted to wait until I got my hands on one to give you a run down on its features. At first glance, the HTC Snap has a BlackBerry look to it, more so a BlackBerry Bold than a BlackBerry Curve . . . but when you pick it up, you can definitely tell it isn't a BlackBerry.

If you're a Windows Mobile fan, this bad boy runs Win Mo 6.1, so you can easily sync up your contacts, calendar, and email. And with the one touch access keys, you can get to your camera, messages, and the Internet quickly and effortlessly. Other useful features include a two megapixel camera, a microSD card slot for additional storage, and GPS functionality. I also want to point out that it offers a full QWERTY keyboard with keys that are a tad on the bigger side for those who find BlackBerry's to be difficult to type on.

Thumbs down goes to the fact that it doesn't have WiFi or a regular headphone jack.

You can currently pick one up from Sprint for $150 (give or take your contract situation), or if you're with T-Mobile or Verizon, have a peek at the T-Mobile Dash 3G or the Verizon HTC Ozone, which are basically the same device as the Snap.

An Up Close Look at Nokia's N79

I haven't had a Nokia phone in awhile, but what I really do like about their handsets is the fact that they are tried, tested, and true - did you spot all of them in Confessions of a Shopaholic? I happened to get my hands on Nokia's latest handset, the N79, and was amazed at how such a tiny phone (the size of a chocolate bar) can be jam-packed with so many features.

Just looking at aesthetics to start off, the N79 can be personalized with five different colored Xpress-on smart covers for different looks. And once you snap on the new cover, your screen will automatically change to match the exterior color - you'll see below that the red cover instantly updated my screen to red as well!

The screen is much tinier than I'm used to with the iPhone and BlackBerry Curve, but it does feature a built-in accelerometer with auto-screen rotation so you can make your screen an inch or two wider. Aside from a 4GB microSD card, WiFi, stereo speakers, and a touch-sensitive naviwheel, the N79 also comes with a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, built-in GPS, and geotagging functionality. It hasn't reached the U.S as of yet, but I'm sure it will be making its way within the next few months. Stay tuned!

Armani Phone Is Real And Looks Just Like We Predicted

A few months ago we turned you on to the fact that the Korea Herald claimed Samsung was teaming up with Armani to make a designer phone. The idea of a phone that could potentially join the Prada and Gucci phones on the chic meter got us so excited we even predicted what the phone might look like. When photos of the Armani device popped up online yesterday, we felt we had to gloat a little because our original mock up was pretty spot on. (The real Samsung/Armani phone is pictured on the left, our mock up is pictured at right.)

According to Pocket Lint, the Samsung Armani P520 phone is a triband GSM with EDGE handset, measures 88 x 54 x 8.9mm, boasts a 262k colour QVGA touchscreen, a 3-megapixel camera with video recording, microSD card slot, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It clearly doesn't have the token Armani branding we predicted (we weren't being completely serious about that anyway), but it is sleek, shiny and dare we say...iPhone inspired?
Source

RIM Makes Wi-Fi BlackBerry Smartphone Official

Okay, so we already told you WiFi was coming to the new RIM BlackBerry, but it's finally official.

The device, which RIM called the "first dual-mode cellular and Wi-Fi BlackBerry Smartphone" in a press release, will be thinner than the BlackBerry Pearl and feature a full QWERTY keyboard, large and bright display (320 x 240) and user-friendly trackball navigation system.

The BlackBerry 8820 also includes built-in GPS (Global Positioning System), RIM's latest media player enhancements, and a expandable memory slot that can support current and future generations of microSD memory cards. Most importantly, the device will combine EDGE/GPRS/GSM cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity for data access and voice support through UMA (unlicensed mobile access) for fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) service offerings from various wireless carriers around the world.
