MTV Decides to Launch Its Own Music Site

Take Hulu and YouTube, add some pretty colors, and you've got MTV's latest creation: MTV Music. Not a revolutionary new music site, but what I do like about it is it's your one-stop shop for thousands of music videos from the past and from the future (Duran Duran, vintage Madonna, it's all there). Choose to watch on the site or embed on your own blog, and it even gives you a full screen option. They've still got some kinks to work out, but overall, a handy and simplistic music site.

Beyoncé Knowles rocked skintight animal-print leggings for an evening of retail therapy in NYC last night. Beyoncé is back in Manhattan for the holidays following a trip west to catch the end of Jay-Z's Watch the Throne tour. Beyoncé was spotted in Los Angeles for Jay's and Kanye's string of shows at the Staples Center and also in Vancouver where they wrapped things up last week. Beyoncé is one of many pregnant stars of 2011, though her MTV Video Music Awards reveal made it a headline rather than just a baby announcement.

Selena Gomez took the stage in Belfast, Ireland last night to host and perform during the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards. She was one of the artists chosen to entertain the crowd along with her boyfriend Justin Bieber, Coldplay, LMFAO, Bruno Mars, and Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga went home with the top honors and added four new trophies to her growing collection, while Justin was right on her heels taking home two - see the entire list of MTV EMA winners! Jersey Shore's Snooki and J Woww presented Katy Perry with the best live award, and supermodels Bar Refaeli and Irina Shayk hit the pink carpet before presenting Lady Gaga with one of her statues. There were plenty of exciting routines, and the proceedings also included a respectful tribute to the late Amy Winehouse.

Prior to the show, Justin and Selena were spotted hanging out together on Saturday with no signs of strain on their relationship. It seems the paternity allegations plaguing Justin in the States aren't causing him to lose any sleep. He recently told Matt Lauer of the allegations, "I never met the woman. . . I know I"m going to be a target, but I'll never be a victim." His trip to Europe continues today as he heads to London for a tree lighting ceremony to promote his new holiday album, Under the Mistletoe.
