Love Duck Radio: Love It or Leave It?

How does this sound: A hot bath, some Super Mario Bros. bath bombs, and this rubber ducky - playing your tunes? Childish looking as it may seem, the waterproof Love Duck Radio is pretty cool. It runs on batteries and plays AM/FM radio - but therein is my gripe - I want an MP3 player waterproof ducky! I'm fairly certain that if I got this ducky in my tub with me, I would have no idea what my local radio stations even are (a curse of the internet age). . . But still, it's a cute idea. What do you think?

Announcing the 2012 Grammy Award Nominations

For the second year in a row, the Recording Academy has given a hip-hop artist the most Grammy nominations. Last year, it was rapper Eminem with eight, and this year, Kanye West leads the nominees with seven chances at the golden gramophone, including a song of the year nod for "All of the Lights." West is also nominated twice in the rap album of the year category for his collaboration with Jay-Z on Watch the Throne and his own album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Brit crooner Adele wasn't far behind Kanye, picking up six nominations for her album 21, as well as a shot at song of the year with "Rolling in the Deep."

Bruno Mars also did well, racking up six nominations (that's down one from last year for those keeping track), while newcomers like Nicki Minaj and dubstep artist Skrillex are up for the best new artist category. Coachella's 2011 lineup has been announced, and when the three-day festival kicks off in April, Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, and Kanye West will each headline a day. Other acts I'm excited about? The Black Keys, The Strokes, Best Coast, Cee Lo Green, The National, Sleigh Bells - just to name a few!
