Dying to get your hands on a Peek, but not interested in monthly fees?
The slim email/text-only device, which impressed me when I had it in my hands last year, is available today only for a free lifetime service deal.
The catch is that the device will cost you $300 — normally, the device is $80—$100, plus $20 per month for service (which offers unlimited emailing and text messaging).

TiVo is one of those luxuries that you simply can't live without once you've grown accustomed to it. If you don't like commercials but love TV it will make you feel like you've won the entertainment lottery. You can keep up with shows you like, ignore ads and boring scenes and spend less time looking for something to watch.

If you have an iTunes library that's missing a few beats (you know, like artist info, track names, and album cover art), then you must head over to TuneUp. 'Cause not only is it a drag to spend hours loading up your iTunes library with all your vintage (read: oh-so-early millennium) CDs that you just can't let go of (or albums that you've had burned to discs), but it's even worse to have to go back and enter all the track names and artist info. Now, TuneUp does all that work for you.

On Sunday, Buzz got the chance of a lifetime for any Chuck fan: she hung with the cast backstage and moderated the panel at this year's Wondercon! Since I don't watch the show on a regular basis (um, where have I been?!), I totally geeked-out when Adam Baldwin took the stage. He plays super spy John Casey in the show, but of course I (and apparently the rest of the audience) love him from his time on Firefly.

In case you missed it, Friday was 1234567890 Day! What is that you ask? Well, ever since January 1, 1970, computers began counting up from zero in what is universally known as Unix time, and on Friday, we reached a once in a lifetime number: 1,234,567,890!

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, we're kicking off our third annual Geeks We Love interview series to showcase some of the most talented and loved tech writers in the industry. And who better to get things under way, than the charming Doug Aamoth, who spends most of his days reviewing high-tech gadget goods for CrunchGear? I had the pleasure of meeting Doug at the HTC Touch Diamond Event in London last year, and found him to be very much the way he comes across in his work — passionate and knowledgeable about technology, and a really great guy with an addictive sense of humor.

For those of you who missed me going on and on about how wonderful the light-up Multipot is, here's your second installment.
The Multipot is back and it's not only cheaper, but it now comes in stylin' colors like black, white, chrome, amber, glossy red, and gold. What the heck can this "pot" do you ask?

Forgetting to set your white balance can be huge bummer, especially if you've just captured a once-in-a-lifetime shot.
With the White Balance Lens Cap ($45-65, depending on filter size), you don't have to worry about forgetting to adjust your settings before snapping away.
That's because it's already your lens cap (bonus: it's nothing more you need to remember to carry with you), and all you have to do is go to custom white balance mode, and then the cap creates the ideal profile you need.
