LeSportSac: Always Wanting Your PC to Be as Chic as You

I've been hunting ShopStyle for the past couple weeks for a great plaid-ish buffalo check top for Fall - they're all over FabSugar right now and I can't be left in this trend's dust! Neither can LeSportSac apparently, who has a new hot pink buffalo check Laptop Sleeve ($40).

Do I love it? Did you not read my intro? I'm dying for it. LeSportSac is fast becoming my go-to for new, top-of-the-trends tech accessories - remember the Lexie Laptop Tote I was obsessed with and their line of Stella McCartney geek goods? Hot. Keep it up.

LeSportsac's Lexie Tech Tote: Love It or Leave It?

I really appreciate LeSportsac's contribution to the gadget-bag world; not only have they partnered with Stella McCartney to bring us laptop and camera bags, but they continue to churn out new pretty patterns for sleeves.

Now they bring us the Lexie Tech Tote ($120), which I'm crushing on. The neutral tone is mod rather than boring, and it looks like a single bag that won't break my back when I have a lot of stuff in it, especially since the nylon is a lighter alternative to leather or canvas.

But the same things I love about it - the color, the size, the fabric - might be what someone else hates.

Tell me: It's a hit for me, but is it a miss for you?

Loud, Lovely LeSportsac Laptop Sleeve

I'm more in favor of a busy pattern on my laptop bag if it's in sleeve form, rather than an actual bag - that way I'm never in danger of looking wildly uncoordinated (or looking juvenile, depending on the style). As a sleeve, you can put this in your bigger bag, and then at your destination, whip out a crazy colorful sleeve like this Bibelot print LeSportsac sleeve.

The pattern on this bag is loud, but not in a bad way. The colors are pretty, harmonious, and most importantly - fun! While it does kind of remind me of a lunch bag I had as a kid, this sleeve is still nevertheless sophisticated lady material. And at $40, it slides right into my post-tax-day budget!

Stella McCartney Geek-cessories for LeSportsac

If you hold out it will come: After a disappointing showing from the new Kindle cases, I was feeling pretty uninspired by gadget bags and cases. Well, the geek accessory Gods are smiling on us, because Stella McCartney's line for LeSportsac has gone live, with a lot of pretty and posh options for laptops and cameras (currently available for pre-order) . The line is priced $120 to $325, which is pricey, but more reasonable than most Stella McCartney offerings. Also making it worth it: They're all made of 100 percent recycled eco polyester. Slim LeSportsac Laptop Bags

I've always thought of LeSportsac bags as a little too busy and patterned for weekday or office use, but this new line of 7905 Technofile laptop bags has changed my mind. The bags are incredibly slim and feature a front pocket with zipped closure as well as three smaller interior pockets. Yes, the patterns are a little on the loud side, but they aren't inappropriate by any means. You all know how much I adore colorful laptop bags! These cost $98.

I know that this long list looks scary, but trust me, once you get the hang of it, it'll be a snap the second time around.

First of all, join the Cell Phone Bling Group
Click "Create and Share!" on the left hand side
Choose "Blog"
Give your photo a Title
Leave the category as "general"
Change the channel to "technology and gadgets"
Add keyword(s) (for example mine for this photo was "Cell Phone Bling")
Click on the "Add Image" link below the "body" box
A popup window will happen - click on "Browse" to find your image on your computer
Once you have the image chosen, click "Submit"
The popup will show you your image, choose size: "normal" - if you want, you can give it a title (which will show up as a caption)
Click "Insert" and the popup will go away
Your "body" box will now have some text in it. Leave it as is. If you want to add some text before the picture, do it before the code that has appeared.
Click Submit

So join the Cell Phone Bling Group and start posting your great photos! Yours just might end up on the geeksugar homepage!

New Laptop Bags at . . . Crate and Barrel?

I went into Crate and Barrel the other day to find a tea pot, but to my surprise I found . . . laptop bags?

I usually associate C&B with cozy home stuff, kitchen things, but nothing for my geeky side. The techiest thing I'd seen there till now was a laptop rest (which I repurposed for my sewing machine). These are actual Crate and Barrel laptop bags, too, not just them carrying the LeSportsac brand or anything.

In any case, the soft nylon bags were $20 and pretty cute, if you're thinking about stopping in for a citrus reamer and a new laptop tote!
