Martha Teaches Larry and Sergey to Make Mojitos!

While you could Google a great recipe for cherry mojito, you know they'd be nothing compared to one Martha helped you make.

Martha blogged about her recent trip to San Francisco to take part in the Google National Sales Conference, and the highlight is her demonstrating how to make a cherry mojito for the Googlin' golden boys themselves, Sergey Brin (the winner, BTW of the space-date challenge) and Larry Page.

Martha says she thought Sergey "would be the best cherry pitter" (Ed. note: That's what she said).

Tech Moguls Top 'The Vanity Fair 100' List

Vanity Fair has put Rupert Murdoch, Steve Jobs and the Google twins at the very top of their 100 List for 2007, proving once again that geek is chic and powerful.

Printed in the October edition of Vanity Fair (you know the one with Nicole Kidman looking like an elegant, but saucy sailor on the cover?) the Top 100 List praises the four for their successes in the past year, notably Murdoch's acquisition of the The Wall Street Journal, Jobs's release of the iPhone and the Google twins' ever growing company.

Even in no-pets-on-furniture homes, our furry friends eventually crowd us out of our beds and claim the couch during The Bachelor because nothing is off-limits when the sleepies hit or when they just need a better vantage point from which to supervise the household. Google's a Teenager! 13 of the Year's Best Google Doodles

Thirteen years ago today Google was born in a legendary Palo Alto garage. In honor of its first year as a teenager, we've compiled our favorite Google doodles of 2011.

A way of celebrating the birthdays of pop culture legends and national milestones, the Google Doodle is a nod to the playful side of the company with a day-long redesign of its corporate logo on the site's homepage. The Google Doodle concept started while the search giant was still in its infancy when founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin added a stick figure to the logo as a way of saying they were out of the office attending Burning Man in the Nevada desert. Over 1,000 doodles have appeared on Google homepages in the US and abroad in the years since.

A team of Google designers work on the doodles, but they are open to receiving suggestions and doodles themselves from the public.
