I love colorful laptop sleeves and bags as much as the next girl, but these print Laptop Portfolios, $155, may be too loud for my taste. That being said, I like that they unzip all the way around the sides and front so you can open your computer without removing it from the portfolio. That protects your computer from scratches and scuffs and makes it easier to type when you're away from your desk.

I tend to go for laptop bags with a little more flair than a simple portfolio, but this Belle Meade laptop bag by Kate Spade is like a shrewd, serious business woman — with a discernible edge of sexiness (think Maggie Gyllenhaal in Secretary). It's the sumptuous-looking leather that does it for me, and keeps the bag from looking too "professional."
I'm smitten with all the colors (red, black, and brown), and adding to that buttoned-up sexiness I was alluding to is hidden inside: leopard-print lining.

If you know geeksugar, then you know my weakness for nice leather laptop bags — but sometimes some of you say that they don't look professional enough (like the ombre Prada laptop tote, which is impracticality at its hottest). So my gift to you today is the Moz Laptop Bag by Matt & Nat.
Shaped like a tasteful portfolio and offered in black and navy blue (though the black is currently out of stock, so use that as an excuse to go for the blue), the color manages to be trendy and young but still completely refined.

In need of something extraordinary to spice up your favorite gadgets? You know that I'm otherwise an el cheapo when it comes to anything with a hefty price tag, but I couldn't resist these accessories and just had to share! The Leather Computer Portfolio Case offers a sleek, protective tote for your laptop, and can also hold papers, a notepad and pens.
