What's unique about the desktop hard drive is its touch-sensitive surface, which you can pre-program to open an application of your choice. So say you want to quickly show off videos on your drive, you can press your finger on the front panel and it will instantly pull up the folder with your video files (or launch iTunes). Both the desktop and the mobile drives are made from aluminum, which makes them nice and durable. They are also both Mac and PC friendly, will easily connect to your laptop's USB port and feature a built-in desktop manager, for quick drive formatting and customization. How Many Flash Drives Do You Own?

I'm all "keyed up" over this keyring flash drive. Get it? Keyed? Anyway, I have a thing for flash drives, but my problem (which I'm sure most of you can relate to), is that the things are so small that I end up misplacing them. And let's face it - if I've backed up some important docs on there, that's really not a good situation to be in.

But if I had this LaCie Iamkey 4GB flash drive, then I could back up that important content from my laptop and I'd always know where it is. Well, unless I lost my keys that is.

I know I've got a whole drawer full of flash drives just waiting to be used, so it had me wondering - how many flash drives do you own?

We all know the importance of backing up your data, and now you can do it dripping with style. That is, if cereal- and milk carton-themed hard drives aren't your thing. For me, there's no question which one I would prefer. Ooh flossy, flossaay!

This is the year where it's been kind of bad to be the priciest, most luxurious gadget accessory, but just because we can't order anything, doesn't mean we can't peruse the menu!

My fave untouchable luxury accessories were either cast in leather, like Mulberry's and YSL's laptop bags, real gold, like Tiffany's Camera Bracelet and the Solid Gold Flash Drive, or gold lookalike - as in LaCie's Golden Disk Drive and Gold Python BlackBerry Purse.
