Kelly Ripa Kicks Off a Text-a-Thon For Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month
It only makes sense that daytime talk-show host Kelly Ripa — a self-proclaimed iPhone addict — is teaming up with the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund to help raise awareness during Ovarian Cancer Month with a text-a-thon!
Throughout the rest of the month, Kelly will be encouraging people to help fund research for a cure by donating money by either texting "Kelly" to 85944 or by visiting Kelly Confidential.
I'm sure Kelly will keep us posted on the text-a-thon progress via her new favorite microblogging site — Twitter!

Kelly Ripa Can't Function Without Her Cell Phone
On Live With Regis and Kelly yesterday, Kelly admitted to feeling helpless when she lost her cell phone — which I'm assuming is an iPhone, considering she's already confessed her love for it. "My cell phone has all sorts of everything," she says, realizing in the midst of her panic that she couldn't call her friends to see if they had her phone because their numbers were stored in it! Thankfully there was a happy ending to this story, as Lola Consuelos came to the rescue and used her tiny arms to grab Kelly's phone that was wedged between the car seat and the gear shifts.

Yesterday on Live with Regis and Kelly, Kelly couldn't help but fill Regis in on a little secret — that her iPhone is her personal weatherman — all at the touch of a button. She then attempts to sell good ol' Regis on the user-friendly Apple device that's easy for "technologically challenged" people to use. It's a cute clip with Regis admitting that he wishes people would just go back to using rotary phones — the "safe" way to do it, he says.
Live With Regis and Kelly Goes 3D for Halloween
On October 31st, Regis and Kelly will be taking their Halloween spirit to a whole new geeky level—by hosting Live in 3D! Walgreens stores across the country will be offering free 3D glasses at the photo counter so we can all take part in the 3D action and geek out during one of our favorite morning shows. Approximately five million pairs will be given out —sorry only one per person.
