I am not the only one stoked about the upcoming release of Spore! Geeky celebs are getting in on the action and creating their creatures, too. With the Sporelebrity challenge, you can vote for your favorite creation brought to you by some pretty hard-hitting stars like Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry, and the funny dudes from Flight of the Conchords, just to name a few.

If you've spent any time on iTunes in the past month, then you know "I Kissed a Girl" singer Katy Perry. She has more confessions, this time of the geeky variety, that she spilled in an interview with CNET.

I guess the new thing in appealing to lady geeks is wearable gadgets, like last week's Pendant/Bluetooth Earpiece.
Brando's newest gadget/jewelry hybrid is this Jewel Rose Necklace Flash Drive — a decent-looking necklace, if you ask me (though hardly subtle). Not only is YouTube calling itself the "world's largest video discovery platform", but it's also dipping its toes into the pool of live webcasting; starting with their inaugural YouTube Live event taking place here in San Francisco on November 22.

EA announced yesterday that Natasha Bedingfield will be the official spokesperson for their newest singing and dancing game called Boogie Superstar. Why Superstar? Well, the fact that there are 40 new tracks by stars like The Jonas Brothers, Fall Out Boy, Leona Lewis, Katy Perry, my man Kanye, and of course Natasha herself, makes it a pretty big deal.
