Website of the Day: Kanye This

OK, so I can't say that today's site is good for anything more than a bit of fun during your dull day, but it made me laugh out loud when I saw it. Kanye This takes Mr. West's now famous MTV interruption and makes it available for you to use on websites.

Just enter in the site you want to interrupt in one field, list your favorite site in another, and voila! Kanye will then pop up out of the cyberspace audience to steal the spotlight away from your least favorite site and declare your favorite site the best. You can even fool your friends by sending them a "Kanye'd" link!

First of all, join the Website of the Day group.
Click "New Post" under the website of the day tab at the top of the page.
Give your story a "Title."
Fill in the "Body" with a link to your favorite website and the reasons why you love it.
Type "Technology and Gadgets" in the Categories box
Add keyword(s) in the tag field with relevant tags (for example mine for this story was "Website of the Day").
Choose whether you want the post to be private or public.
Click "Create Post" to submit content.

Are You More Tech Savvy Than Your Boss?

Have you found yourself in this situation? Your boss is either a bit of a technophobe or just doesn't understand how email/her BlackBerry/the office scanner works and asks for your help every time she turns on the device? One writer at Marie Claire confesses she has to help her boss with even the most mindless tech issues - and she's not alone. After swapping war stories, the writer and her friends doubled over with laughter from tales of bosses adding "www." to the front of email addresses, trying to use the computer's calculator function by tapping the numbers as if they were on an ATM screen, and the inability to silence a cell-phone ring.

It makes sense; many of our superiors rose through the ranks working in far less technical environments. (Can you imagine working without a computer!?) But it's still a strange feeling. As the writer says, "Aside from technology issues, I'm not used to teaching my boss something she doesn't know."

Help Us Choose the PopSugar 100 and Win a Chanel Bag!

It's time to make the third annual PopSugar 100 List and this time we're mixing things up to make it even more interactive and fun. This year it's single-elimination tournament style with a bracket to help us narrow down to the perfect list. We chose 128 celebrities who we divided into four groups and then ranked from 1-32. The potential PopSugar 100-ers are then paired up in head-to-head matches, at which point you'll all vote on who had the bigger year.

Whoever wins will then proceed to the next round and so on until we have the Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final 4 right down to the single winner. The first round starts today and will last two weeks in which you can vote on each of the first 64 matchups - just click on any pair of names and work your way around the bracket! You can come back at any time and pick up where you left off.

After the round-one winners are determined, each sequential round will last one week coming to a winner at the beginning of June. As if the game wasn't addicting enough, we are giving away an amazingly hot, white Chanel bag to those who play.

You are entered to win with every round you complete - up to seven times the chances of winning! If you miss a round, don't worry, you can still enter to win multiple times. The winner of the almost $3,000 bag will be chosen randomly from the pool of users that completed each round and announced in June around when the new PopSugar 100 list is revealed. 1. Click into any story on CelebStyle.com.
2. Once there, under the picture you'll find a series of tags and several ways to play: you can comment, send an email, become a fan of the look ("love this"), or add a look of your own. Click either "add a look" to get started.

3. On the next screen you'll be prompted to create a look. First, click on the "add image or product" button.

4. Now a new window will pop up. Leave the tab in "search shopstyle" and type a product description in for the item you're looking for (e.g. if you're looking for a black turtleneck, type in "black turtleneck.").

5. Once you've found the perfect item, click on the product and it will show up on your look page.

6. Repeat for every item that you'd like to include in your look.
7. When you're done, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "save look." Your look will now show up with the editor's look on the CelebStyle story (and you'll be entered into the contest!).
