If you took a liking to the popular teen movie High School Musical you might like this fiery red High School Musical iPod clock/radio. I haven't actually seen the movie, so I can't say I was jumping for joy when I saw this on Gizmodo, but it's a unique dock and a couple of my friends have admitted watching the movie more than once. Created by Disney electronics, this docking station could be an ideal gift for an iPod obsessed adolescent.

I swear I can listen to a song over 100 times and still manage to mess up the words, or make up my own — kinda like the Romy and Michele's High School Reunion scene when they sing Footloose (Footloose manages to turn into cut loose).
Because I regularly watch music videos on YouTube, I've used this Greasemonkey extension to help me with song lyrics, but what about my iTunes library? Thankfully a reader has submitted a neat download to the Download of the Day group to help this geek out.

The iLoad sat on my desk for a good week before I decided to take it out of its box. It wasn't that it didn't look sleek, (while it's a little heavy it does match the regular iPod and my MacBook) but more that as a 21st century woman, I find the idea of it a bit confusing. When I eventually tried it out, I did realize the device's use, but still don't think I'm its target customer.

Most kids love cameras, but few parents want to pass off their pricey devices to a 4-year-old, who is more likely to take pictures of ants than family members or a sunset. That being said, photography is a marvelous art form for kids to test out and the earlier they hone in on their eye for photo-worthy moments, the better photographer they will become.
While Disney has the market cornered on licensed character cameras, there are plenty of fun, novelty cameras that look slightly more authentic and professional than those with The Cheetah Girls or High School Musical labels.

I have to agree with Gizmodo by saying that this new car stereo by Clarion looks like something aimed at Eighties aerobics teachers with permed and highlighted hair—love it! I guess this CD Player with FM/AM tuner is totally bringing retro back. The DUB275MP may look like an old-school gadget, but it's actually quite high-tech.
