Despite the casting of Apple spokesman Justin Long in He's Just Not That Into You, the movie is not that rife with Apple products. The characters are definitely all attached to their cell phones, though none of those are iPhones. What does share screen time?

This Friday, grab a girlfriend, your sister, a boyfriend, a random — anyone — just go and see He's Just Not That Into You! I was lucky to see an early screening of the movie, and let me tell you— it'll have you LOL. Now that you've heard what Greg Behrendt, Ginnifer Goodwin and Drew Barrymore had to say about dating and technology, it's time to give you a sneak peek at some of the tech toys you'll see in the movie!

It's fitting that we should hear about technology affecting dating from the guy who wrote the book behind the movie He's Just Not That Into You, Greg Behrendt.
Drew Barrymore admitted to being confused by the integration, while Ginnifer Goodwin seemed to know how to play the game, albeit grudgingly.
Greg's feelings about tech (who's pictured here on the left in his cameo role in the movie) are more about how it can enhance relationships — but shouldn't dictate behavior:
I think that in your life you have standards for what you will or will not tolerate, what works for you.

Ginnifer Goodwin plays the bubbly Gigi in He's Just Not That Into You, the kind of girl who sits by the phone so much, she brings it to yoga class. Pop had the chance to ask Ginnifer about her personal feelings on how tech is used in dating, and though she admits she's not that into it (ahem), she does participate in it — and her reasoning for why it can be destructive to fledgling relationships is insightful and totally valid.
In contrast to Drew Barrymore's feelings of confusion about using technology in dating, Ginnifer Goodwin seems to have it a little more figured out.

As one of the producers of the upcoming anti-rom-com He's Just Not That Into You, Drew Barrymore was able to add some of her own dating experience to her character, Mary, whom we saw battling the many portals of technology a couple months ago in the trailer.
Pop had the chance to chat with Drew about the film (and the perhaps-future Charlie's Angel movie), and she admitted to being able to relate with Mary about the hurdles that tech presents in meeting people:
"My character in the movie is tech-savvy and tech-wary, and the wary part is all from me. I really wanted to inject that into the character.

"MySpace is the new booty call!" a friend advises Drew Barrymore in this preview for He's Just Not That Into You, and later she laments:
"I had this guy leave me a voice mail at work, and so I called him at home, and he emailed me to my BlackBerry, and so I texted to his cell, and now you just have to go around checking all these different portals just to get rejected by seven different technologies. It's exhausting."

Picture this: You just had the date of your dreams, so when he invites you to his place for a little night cap, you immediately say yes without hesitation. After a glass of wine, your stomach starts rumbling and you realize that extra spicy Tandoori chicken dish maybe wasn't the best ordering option for your first date. Next thing you know, you're in his bathroom, wondering how you'll be able to drown out unwanted restroom noise.

I just came across an article about a German convicted murderer who is suing Wikipedia to have his name removed from the entry of the actor he is accused of killing. Because of its community edits and contributions, Wikipedia is a fascinating place. Because it's a US company, facts on Wikipedia are protected by the First Amendment right to free speech.
