The kids of Gossip Girl are headed off to college — some NYU, one Brown, and one Columbia (although I have a feeling we'll only be seeing one campus somehow) and I have been having a lot of fun outfitting my favorite characters with gadgets and tech accessories. If you missed any, check out my roundup for the tech stylings of Blair, Georgina, and Dan!

I'm excited about all my tech personal styling for the ladies of Gossip Girl (Serena, Georgina, and Blair, oh my) — it definitely makes me miss the show a little less for the Summer hiatus — but now it's time to turn my attention to the male faction of the show.
I've picked Dan Humphrey, because even though he can be dense, dopey, and judgmental, I still have a place in my heart for the character who'll always be known as Lonely Boy to me.
So check out my picks for geeky things a semi-stylish young guy with a thing for female professors should take with him to NYU — he's going to need it (that, and a heaping dose of confidence).

I've showed you how I'd outfit the main ladies of Gossip Girl for college — Blair, very polished for NYU, and Serena, very put-together for Brown, and now I'm going to tackle the resident bad girl: Georgina Sparks.
We know Georgina has schemed to be Blair's roommate next semester, so it looks like she'll be wandering the halls of NYU as well.
What does a leather-loving villainess like Georgina want from her gadgets?

The kids of Gossip Girl aren't really kids anymore, as they're about to embark on their first years at college. I'm having fun imagining how I'd outfit them for gadgets and accessories — Blair Waldorf's wiring kicked me off, and now I'm turning to the California casual New Yorker Serena van der Woodsen.
S is headed to Brown University (though I have a feeling that won't last, with all her friends staying in the city for school), and it's been hinted that her bohemian nature will be out in full force.

There's no rest for the Gossip Girl weary — even though the season has ended, I'm very much looking forward to next season, when the gang will cause a ruckus in college.
My favorite character, Blair Waldorf, is off to NYU — it's not her beloved Yale, but it's a great school that will hopefully give Blair a little more of an edge — especially if she's going to be rooming with bad girl Georgina. To help her prep for school, hit the books, and battle evil fashionista roommates, I've put together my picks for the tech and tech accessories that Blair Waldorf should have on hand for her freshman year in college.

Another legendary season of Gossip Girl has come to a close, and as I am left with my grief over its absence for the Summer, I have also been reflecting on things I have learned. There were tech lessons galore — from Facebook tips to alternative uses for Bluetooth earpieces — that even I can benefit from.

Looking back, I think that one thing is clear (besides Chuck and Blair's relationship status, finally): Season two of Gossip Girl was totally techier than the first. Hackers, apps, and fresh new gadgets surfaced in the drama, and I couldn't have been more pleased. Check out my favorite geek moments of the last season.

Were you, like me, disappointed that the characters of Gossip Girl didn't get to unmask their namesake blogger on this week's season finale? Even though I know she's never revealed in the books, I have different hopes for the show and also — they were so close! Jonathan "hacked into her server" but that's as far as they could get?!

In last night's predictably unpredictable season finale of Gossip Girl, more than one bomb went off, but my faves were the relentless blasts from Gossip Girl herself, even if we didn't get to learn her identity. This episode was full of tech treats (maybe to salve the wound that is a Summer without the show?) so to see how well you paid attention, take my quiz!

I'm not sure that the Gossip Girl spinoff (previewed on the show last night) about Serena's mother, Lily Rhodes, will have enough tech in it to warrant a weekly tech quiz like its mother show, but maybe its '80s setting will have some of the Me Decade's coolest vintage technology. I already have a few things in my mind that I hope to see!
