If you're job hunting, the Google Doc Templates gallery will be your BFF. You can download relevant templates and customize them to use for your application or your prep process. Here are a couple templates you might find helpful:

Modern Resume: A very modern and clean looking resume that has a simple design. It doesn't look too cluttered up and has just the right professional touch.
To Do List: When you're job hunting, you're going to have a neverending to do list for things like reaching out to contacts, going to events, sending resumes to a certain company. Keep your job search tasks organized in this Google template.
Job Interview One-Sheeter: This is a great, great interview tool that will help you prepare. It's nice to have all your points located on a single sheet of paper so you can make sure you're covering all your bases. It's also handy because you can print it out and quickly look over for a refresher before an interview.
Networking Tracker: To keep track of the many people you'll come in contact with while networking for a job, use this sheet to stay on top of things. Note: Although the preview doesn't seem to be working, the template still downloads and works fine.

Just like Gmail labs, Google is always adding fun and useful template ideas to Google Docs. The latest ones that caught my eye are the workout templates, which were designed by fitness expert Karon Karter.

Just like other Google Doc templates, you can access Karon Karter's personal cardio training docs, weight training docs, and Pilates training docs for free.

What I love about these docs is the fact that you can track your own individual progress, or you can share your progress with a trainer or running group - just like 6-pack achiever Larry did with this fitness tracking spreadsheet that he shared with his workout buddies - how awesome is that spreadsheet?!

Google Docs: Now Totally Pretty

Did it ever blow your mind when you first started using Google Docs, and you watched your friends edit the document at the same time you were viewing it (it obviously did mine)? The only thing that has never blown my mind is the bare-bones look of the docs.

Sure, they got the job done, but I would never deny I wanted something pretty to look at. Yes we can, says Google - they've released templates for Google Docs so that not only will your spreadsheets and lists look great, you'll be able to design business cards, resumes, invitations, announcements, anything!

Get in the (Basketball) Game With Tours and Tools From Google

Basketball fans, take note! Whether you're planning to watch some March Madness basketball games either on cable or without a TV, you can familiarize yourself with all 14 arenas in the tournament this year before tip-off. Thanks to Google's college basketball tournament map, providing 3D details of each arena. Take a tour of each venue via a video on Google's blog, or download the tour and view it in Google Earth.

In addition to the tour, Google also created a dedicated site to keep track of the tournament locations, game times, and news. There's even a tournament bracket template available in Google Docs.
