Apple is oh so cheeky. It's just debuted its rebuttal commercial to Microsoft's Laptop Hunter ad campaign. It's short, sweet, and straight to the point — PCs are malfunctioning headaches, while Macs are simple and user friendly. Can't wait to see what their next commercial will be. Read more
Happy Election Day, everybody! If you're a Californian, you're also deciding the fate of gay marriage in this state. There have been a lot of controversial ads, but this is the first geeky one I've seen. This ad's creators, ostensibly opposers of Prop 8, use a parody of Apple's "Get a Mac" campaign, casting the Mac character as the open-minded one who's against banning gay marriage. Though the second Microsoft ad featuring Jerry Seinfeld is a lot funnier than the first, I can't help but feel that it's still lacking . . . direction? Humor?
