Tis the season of vacation, which means many of you are jetting cross countries and oceans for some much needed relaxation, exploration and adventure. That also means many of you are out bumping into technology, gadgets, ideas and stores you've never seen before.
Chuger recently returned from a work trip to Japan and Korea, where he noticed this great "Natural Internet Park."

For a second, I thought Wii fever was dead and I nearly missed Junemon's adorable photo of her sleepy wii puppii after a rousing game of Wii sports. Thank goodness I didn't because this might be the cutest geeky thing I've seen in weeks. I couldn't decide on a caption, so you have to vote on your favorite.

Ursula5977 recently shared some fabulous photos of my new favorite geeky crafts project: Her decorated Macbook. She says:
Out of boredom and lack of a hobby, I took the liberty of rhinestoning my beloved MacBook! It's almost to the point of tacky, but I absolutely love it.

Yesterday I shared some fabulous photos Lindsb's good friend took at the "The Art of the Brick" exhibit by Nathan Sawaya at the Lancaster Museum of Art and I realized there are probably thousands of you geeksugar readers who have exciting, geeky photos, stories and tips you want to share with me and your fellow geek fans.
Our shared admiration for all things techie, chic and innovative is the primary reason I started the Geeky Things I Love group, where I hope you readers will divulge all your greatest finds - like this custom designed smoked glass, etched with Darth Vader's image on the side of a popcorn machine.
This is different than just bookmarking geek gear you've found around the internet because it offers a place where you can share images and stories of unusual museum or art exhibits, funny gadgets you've found while traveling or even news, reviews and tips I haven't shared with yet.

The series premiere of Melrose Place delivered an abounding dose of drama and some flashy tech toys and references. I was thrilled to see the show upgrade from the giant car phones of the original series (naturally — it's been a while), and make some legitimately geeky references. Could this be the new trendy tech show of the season?

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, we're kicking off our third annual Geeks We Love interview series to showcase some of the most talented and loved tech writers in the industry. And who better to get things under way, than the charming Doug Aamoth, who spends most of his days reviewing high-tech gadget goods for CrunchGear? I had the pleasure of meeting Doug at the HTC Touch Diamond Event in London last year, and found him to be very much the way he comes across in his work — passionate and knowledgeable about technology, and a really great guy with an addictive sense of humor.

I check in daily with Dvice, not only because of its gadget coverage, but also because of its sweet sci-fi influence. So just in case you aren't familiar (and if not, why?), let me introduce you to one of Dvice's endearingly geeky contributors — and one of this year's Geeks We Love — Kevin Hall. Recent Brooklyn transplant, this geek hottie has traveled the world, seen (almost) everything, and can still say that robots are his favorite thing .

As part of our Geeks We Love series, I caught up with a few couples that, through the beauty of the internet and technology have influenced both our lives and each other.
There are plenty of couples that both blog, but Anil Dash and Alaina Browne are in an elite club of longtime bloggers that have been around the blogosphere for years, but are still humble about their success, influence and accomplishments. Anil, is Vice President at Six Apart, a blogging software used by millions of people across the world, but he describes his occupation by saying "I help people start blogging."
