When the weather starts getting cooler, and you start paying attention to gift guide suggestions, then you know the holidays are quickly approaching! It's about that time of the year for me, when I can't help but want to buy things that are festive and get me into the holiday spirit. These new Solo FX Special Edition Cases ($35) from iSkin might not be green and red, but they are glitzy and certainly fall into the category of "essential holiday accessories."

Edible geek treats are one of my sweet tooth weaknesses — just when you thought you couldn't love your favorite video games or favorite gadgets more, you get to enjoy them in cake form and smothered in frosting.
Speaking of favorites, it's time to turn the attention on some delectable Super Mario Bros. sweets that are so irresistible, I had to put them all together for you to drool over too!

If you head on over to a T-Mobile store today, you'll be able to feast your eyes on the new BlackBerry Pearl 8120 colors, which include black emerald, indigo, and frost. You can also still pick up the original titanium design, although I'm sure people will be scooping up the new hues. Hello?

I fell for the ezSkin iPhone protector from ezGear because it reminded me of the orange gel case Cameron Diaz and Jessica Biel use on their BlackBerrys. Now that I've ventured into the world of gel cases with the ezSkin I fully understand why the two stars have put their jealousy of having both dated Justin Timberlake aside and don't mind using the same cell case. Unlike hard leather cases, gel cases slide on your phone with ease and offer bright, colorful protection for your phone's body.

By nature geek jewelry is, well, pretty geeky. It's something we've all come to understand and even love — especially when we find geek chic frosting like the Fancy Binary ring or the imaginary, but innovative iGems. But where do these LED Jewelry pieces from Media LED fall on the geek chic meter?

If you like keeping your gadgets protected and don't necessarily care about showing them off, here's a shuffle case from USB fever that is all of the above. This watch style case, which I spotted on technabob, comes in a soft rubber, making it very comfortable and light weight. Available in blue, black, green, frost white, pink and purple for $10.

This interactive LED coffee table reminds me of a Lite-Brite. As in "Lite-Brite, Lite-Brite, turn on the magical shining light!" Just like the Lite-Brite, which in case you are confused was a small toy covered in multi-colored plastic pegs, this coffee table is decorated with lights as well.
