Some tech-inspired jewelry can be, well, geeky and unattractive. Such is not the case with the Fancy line, created by designer Sally Brock, who has been designing jewelry since she was 13. The line, which is available online and at her Seattle, Washington studio, is made up of an impressive selection of handmade rings, earrings, bracelets and gifts with a distinctive geek flair.

Forget fancy expensive computers — Federal Agents have a new tool in the fight against child pornography — the Sony PlayStation 3. Turns out, when several PS3s are networked together, their processing component is perfect for cracking computer passwords, which are protected under the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution. So investigators can seize a suspect's computer, but they have to crack the passwords on their own.

Last time we saw a wooden USB device it looked like an actual wooden stick, but this fancy wooden device from Thalbach Design takes earthy devices to a new level. It may not be gold and diamond laden, but it certainly has a design aesthetic we don't see everyday. Do you like the look?

I know there're plenty of ways for you to discover new music online — from Pandora to my new fave, CitySounds — but I'm about to add another to your bag of tricks. Called Gnoosic, this website asks you point blank what bands or artists you like, works its analyzing magic, then spits out a list of recommended artists you might fancy.
Sure, it doesn't have a fancy interface like Pandora, but it's smart — it's a self-adapting system that has compiled thousands of band names from users, then learned what people like and don't like based on its rating system.

From the six or seven cell phones I've owned in my life, two of them were Nokia's. Tried, tested and true, Nokia handsets will always have a special place in my heart. Now I know I have a tendency to talk about fancy new Android phones, and ramble on about the iPhone, but I know not everyone has oodles of cash lying around to spend on a smartphone.

If you've never experimented with a fisheye lens before, basically it's that distorted circular image you would see, say if you looked out of a peephole in a hotel and someone on the other side was peering in. DSLRs can do some fancy things, but do they have a 170-degree view that makes everything look artistically altered?
I've showcased many fun fisheye cameras on GeekSugar before, but now that NY artist Mike Perry has designed one exclusively for Urban Outfitters in hot pink, neon green, and yellow, I just had to share it with you.

It isn't a pretty picture: you're stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic cursing out the cars in front of you for clogging up the road. Instead of yelling at your fellow commuters, whip out your fancy phone for easy access to mobile maps that will offer alternate routes, drive time projections and apps that will tell you how long it's really gonna be.

Last night on The Rachel Zoe Project, Rachel not only got the chance to be in front of the camera for her Marie Claire photoshoot, but her adorable husband Roger decided it was high time Rachel jumped into the online space and hired her a web consultant named Jessica. Judging by Rachel's decked-out Twitter page and her new fancy website, Roger's goal of giving Rachel a digital voice, certainly worked. Have you taken The Rachel Zoe Project tech quiz yet?

Last week I told you about the new Motorola Cliq Android handset, which will soon be coming to T-Mobile. The actual look and feel of the phone doesn't really differ that much from your standard smartphone, but what is unique about the Cliq is the MotoBlur interface, which equips the phone with some fancy features. Here's a little demo I had which showcases MotoBlur's many functions, most notably, the social integration.
