It's a no-brainer that Transformers star Megan Fox puts the fox back in foxy, but who knew that she was such a geek? On Friday night during Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actress admitted that she always wanted to be a comic book artist and that she still loves sketching up cartoons on her Mac. So let me get this straight — Megan Fox has a tendency to be irresponsible and immature, is the proud owner of either an iMac or MacBook, and she is an iPhone user?!

Megan Fox has a sexy little package — in her hand that is. She was spotted toting her black iPhone 3G the other day, even multitasking with her coffee thermos in the same hand as the phone (a balancing act I'm familiar with). The last time we checked in with her, not only did she have a first generation iPhone, but she put that one in a protective case.

Megan Fox showed up to a party Monday as a hero to geek girls everywhere; not only was she sporting a Star Wars t-shirt (the best of us are worshipers of "The Force") but she also had an iPhone!
At first glance, I thought she had a new, white 16GB iPhone 3G, but upon closer inspection, it appears to be a first-generation iPhone with a white case around it.
Whether you want to fool passersby into thinking you have a newer phone, or if my accessory options for the white phone just swayed you into loving the look, check out my suggestion for a case like Megan's when you read more

If you haven't been watching Fringe, you're missing out on a solid sci-fi thriller that will help fill a void where BSG left off. Sure, there's no space, but there are alternate universes . .

Fox's release of Family Guy's Star Wars parody Blue Harvest on DVD is exciting because of its inclusion of a free digital copy, so you can own both the DVD and iTunes copy — no long ripping process required, no legal bones about it.
The intrepid testers over at Gizmodo unboxed the DVD to find an extra digital copy disc and a slip with a code inside. Each can only be used once, which made testers question the complexity of something relatively easy to do — why not just give the code to enter online?

One of my favorite websites is Texts From Last Night, which compiles all of your hilarious, regrettable, embarrassing, and TMI texts from, well, the night before (that is after you or someone else submits them). The site is so popular it not only has its own BlackBerry app, but it's coming to the boob tube. That's right, a TFLN show will be written by Steve Holland and produced by Sony TV and Happy Madison and will air on the Fox network.

I just saw the college graduation comedy Post Grad starring Alexis Bledel and like Buzz, I thought the movie was also quirky and cute, but I had a few quibbles with the technology.
First, there must have been some sort of MySpace deal for placement, because it opens with Bledel's character Ryden posting a video blog getting live video comments on a very fancy-looking MySpace UI. I haven't been on the 'Space for a while now, but I'm pretty sure this is not the latest redesign.

One of my favorite films of last year, The Dark Knight unquestionably shines with the performance of Heath Ledger as the Joker, nominated for Best Supporting Actor. The film's up for a slew of other nominations that I'm really interested in because of their technical slants, like Best Cinematography, Film Editing, Sound, Sound Editing, and Visual Effects.
That's not just why the Batman sequel was a geek's dream; it featured the Nokia Tube as Lucius Fox's cell, and a couple pivotal scenes centered around cell phone communication as a plot device.
