May is yet another month packed full of movie-to-game titles that I hope (fingers crossed) will be as awesome as the films are. I've been putting in mega OT with Mario Kart and GTA IV, and I hope to add a few more to my schedule this week to give you more in depth reviews so that you can make an informed decision on which ones are worth dropping some cash on! Geeky Movie Crush: Speed Racer Emile Hirsch
I knew the Speed Racer trailer was the perfect opportunity to post a picture of the adorable Emile Hirsch. As the title character in Speed Racer, Emile makes my geek girl dreams come true by embodying one of my favorite cartoon characters from my childhood in the film version. Helmed by the Wachowskis — themselves geek heroes as the filmmakers of The Matrix films — Speed Racer looks like high tech action fun.
