June was a big month for new gadgets and tech toys, but don't fret, there's plenty of drool-worthy items to go around. My top picks for this month can either be given as gifts, be added to early Christmas wishlists, or make the perfect splurge purchase! And did I mention that they are all fresh for Summer?

Looks may be deceiving, but don't be fooled: I promise this is a sexier and sleeker version of the eGo drive I reviewed last year.
This much lighter, third generation, 320GB drive offers built-in antivirus software and an impressive rugged aluminum exterior that can withstand a 1.3 meter drop, which you know as well as I do is very important when you're lugging around a device that holds your important data.
Online, this puppy will cost you around $95, which is pretty affordable, considering I've heard of similar devices going for upwards of $150.

You may remember this pink eGo portable hard drive by Iomega from my Must Haves list for February, but because it's so darn cute, and because of all the backing up talk last week, I knew I had to elaborate a bit more on its awesomeness!
To put into perspective how much this beauty of a hard drive can hold, picture this: 640,000 photos, over 2,900 hours of music and 240 hours of video, for a total capacity of 160GB —yes, it's a decent size! The eGo is USB powered so you don't need to drag around an external power supply and it features drop guard for added protection if it were to ever fall off a desk or table.

I was beyond ecstatic when I got to check out an Ego lifestyle laptop up close and personal this week at CES. The Ego Signature is crafted personalized and assembled completely by hand, boasting a glitter-covered keyboard and an exotic exterior. What's great about Ego laptops is the ability to personalize your laptop with a unique leather or fabric skin or add embroidered initials or symbols.

No, this is not your typical Valentine's Day inspired laptop cover. These Tulip Ego Heart laptops by Ego Lifestyle are in fact actual laptops! I almost wish it were a cute handbag that your laptop could fit in.

Thanks to TeamSugar user Gibby for joining me in one of our weekly early morning chats and also for letting us know about a new wet n' wild iPod accessory - the waterproof sound case by Ego. Gibby already has a waterproof iPod case which she loves to use in the shower, but has her sights set on getting this model, probably for using in her pool! It does have alot of great features including: a compact shatterproof body, high powered speakers, a shock-absorbing compartment for your iPod and it even floats in water!

When the limited edition lilac Hannah Montana PSP 3000 bundle was announced, I couldn't help but go on a bit of a rant about its sexist splash of color — although I don't think throwing Miley Cyrus' alter ego, Hannah Montana, into the mix helped out the situation either. Don't get me wrong, I love color, so the fact that Sony is coming out with a PSP 3000 in pink and turquoise this November, I feel like they've somewhat redeemed themselves. I'll let the pink slide on this one, but the turquoise?

Congrats ladies, it looks like we geeks are spreading the gospel of the chicness of our proclivities — there's even a book preaching it to other girls not yet versed in the ways.
And for an extra ego boost, you've got to hear "Coder Girls," a jam in which the admiring man raps "Wanna get in where I fit in like a plug-in." It'll be your Summer jam, for sure.
