If you've ever wondered how models and celebrities can appear so picture perfect in magazines you can stop wondering. Beyonce may have looked flawless for her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition photoshoot, but something tells me even she has a little help from the photoshop gods. It's common knowledge that photo editors remove cellulite, erase stretch marks, blur wrinkles, hide pimples, slim, tone, adjust, tweak, lengthen, shorten, lighten, darken and re-touch images before they send them to the press, but what does that transformation look like?

As you know, I've been anxiously waiting for the arrival of the Nintendo DSi (which comes out this Sunday), but lo and behold, I got a special delivery in the office yesterday: a Nintendo DSi cake and the DSi itself! After taking in the craftsmanship of the cake, I dove into the DSi to take a few first impressions.

Soap on a rope used to be a punchline, but now it's back with an ironic vengeance; check this Karaoke Soap on a Roap ($12) from Urban Outfitters.
Think about it; it's supremely efficient — you need to wash your body, and you need to sing in the shower, so you have killed two birds with one stone. Then again, you might just grab a bar of Dove from Walgreens and sing acoustically.

So the other day PetSugar was explaining to me how she lost the top to her earbud and was peeved because she couldn't listen to her tunes at work, when suddenly something happened — her earbuds picked up a paper clip from her desk! Was it due to Mercury being in retrograde? Was it because our office is haunted and the ghost was messing with us and our electronics?

Yay! The iPhone App Store is finally open, and I have dove headfirst into the App Store to start making my iPhone givin' me all it can.
Sure, you could get in the iTunes store and just start hunting for apps, but don't you want a friendly hand to guide you through your first batch of the essential apps?

My heart beats a little faster every day as we near May 30, the day the Sex and the City movie comes out. To that end, I've been posting the geekiest SATC clips to prepare, including everything from the motherboard failure to Carrie's Googling misadventures!
Our fearless and fiercely intelligent women proved they can tackle anything in the show, especially technology — but even a Mac girl like Carrie Bradshaw was mystified from time to time when she dove into a new geeky task.

Every time I move my laptop from the couch to the bed or to the kitchen table I have to remember to move all my accessories as well. This includes my wireless mouse, my pen and pad of paper, my USB stick and of course my cell phone. Well Belkin has just come out with a handy mouse pad that can be used to tote all your gadgets around.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Wedding Web sites, or "Wed sites," were initially created as a way brides and grooms to be to notify guests of wedding dates, plans and gift registries. Today, the sites are far more personal, offering stories, videos, photos and even up to the big moment journal entries.
