Companies and TV networks are getting quite clever when it comes to creating commercials that blend well with the show it's airing with. We already know that people aren't watching commercials during popular shows, so it makes sense that companies are using some smart tactics to get people to watch — and not fast forward through — its commercials. Sprint is doing just that by teaming up with Desperate Housewives to launch seven commercials that were actually written and directed by Desperate Housewives employees.

Looks like someone is certainly going to the chapel on the upcoming season of Desperate Housewives! Will it be Susan or Katherine?!
Between takes on set this week, Teri Hatcher, and Dana Delany were spotted killing time with each other and their cell phones — Teri with a BlackBerry Bold and Dana with a white iPhone 3GS.

I don't know what it is about Katherine from Desperate Housewives, but she seems to be one of the leading gadget girls on the show. We've already unveiled her cell phone — a nice fire engine red Centro, and now I've figured out what kind of Bluetooth earpiece she uses as well. For $90 you can have Katherine's Plantronics Voyager 520A Wireless Headset, which offers eight hours total talk time, a noise canceling mic, and 33' range from your Bluetooth enabled cell phone.

One would think, especially with so many children, Nadya Suleman would be a safety pro and abide by California law by using a Bluetooth device or a hands free cell phone earpiece while operating a motor vehicle.
Sadly, this wasn't the case when the famous mother of fourteen was caught yesterday gabbing on her cell phone while driving by police. The Hands Free Law — which kicked into effect last July — is intended to make drivers more aware while driving — and therefore decreasing traffic accidents.

Now that Katherine is getting hot 'n heavy with Mike, it's no wonder she has a new phone to suit her lifestyle; and no I don't think the red lipstick, red blouse, and red phone were a coincidence. On a recent episode of Desperate Housewives, Katherine showed off a sexy little smartphone, the Centro by Palm.
This PDA is one of the most affordable phones on the market right now — it's practically free!

It's not everyday I touch on the drama of Wisteria Lane, but on Monday night's episode of Desperate Housewives, it was hard not to notice Lynette geeking-out. In order to learn some juicy details about her son Porter's life, she decided to set up a fake account on Silver Fizz - basically Fairview's version of Facebook - and then pose as a girl who her son soon develops feelings for. As you can probably guess, things get messy and Lynette decides to send him a breakup letter via email.

Gameloft, a cellphone game maker, has announced it will bring its line of mobile games to the BlackBerry in hopes of grabbing a chunk of the device’s expanding market. This means that next time you see someone furiously punching away on their BlackBerry keyboard they might not be sending an all-important message, but well, gaming. Here's more:
“It’s becoming quite common to see people playing games on their BlackBerry,” said Mark Guibert, vice president of corporate marketing for Research in Motion, the company that makes the BlackBerry.

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria seems to be a hot ticket on the geeky circuit. Last week we spotted her hanging out at the Microsoft Vista goodies party and yesterday she posed with the Motorola KRZR after accepting a $245,000 check on behalf of Padres Contra El Cancer from AT&T.
The money will go to help fund the organization's programs that provide support to Latino children battling childhood cancer and their families, and Eva apparently sang the praises of AT&T for their support.

The paparazzi may have been busy snapping away at the 13th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, but by the looks of it, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker were just as busy with their own fancy schmancy digital cam. Maybe Eva was taking pictures of her fellow Desperate Housewives co-stars or better yet, sneaking some racy pictures of other celebs at this star studded event. This camera definitely looks like a COOLPIX S7c by Nikon.
