Meet the Zino, a New Miniature Desktop From Dell

The Dell Inspiron Zino HD is the latest colorful release from the PC company.

Slightly bigger than a Mac Mini, the Zino starts at $230, and runs on Microsoft's Windows Vista. It's a Dell, so there are many options for customization; 10 interchangeable lids change its color and design; other options include a Blu-Ray player, up to 8GB of memory, and up to a 1TB hard drive.

Dell's Luxurious Latitude Z Notebook

For tech-savvy, fashionable powerhouse business users, Dell has got the perfect new laptop for you.

Featured on Wired, the Dell Latitude Z Notebook is about as slim and sleek as the Dell Adamo, and it features wireless charging, a touchscreen (which allows you to select your most used applications), and a built-in, 2-megapixel webcam. It also features a 16-inch HD display, a choice of up to two 256GB solid state drives, 12-hour battery life, and a cool feature called Latitude On, which will turn on your laptop automatically and connect you to your email, the Internet, etc.

For all of this, you can expect to pay around $2000, which is hard for me to swallow after hearing the news about the possible release of cheaper new MacBooks.

Dell and Nickelodeon Team Up to Create a Kid-Friendly Netbook

Ah, kids these days. . . when they're not gabbing away on their cell phones, they've got their faces glued to the screens of portable gaming devices.

Well Dell is next in line to target younger audiences by working closely with Nickelodeon to create a 10.1-inch mini Inspiron netbook. The laptop, which is covered in the signature-green slime design by iCarly, comes fully loaded with entertaining and educational content and a Nickelodeon-branded desktop wallpaper and icons.

The price of this three-pound netbook hasn't been announced as of yet, but you can expect it to be around the same price as the regular mini 10. They will be available in Dell and Wal-Mart store shelves starting this October.

AT&T to Sell $200 Netbooks Online and in Stores

AT&T has just announced that they will be expanding its line of broadband-enabled netbooks by bringing the slim Acer Aspire One, Dell Mini 10, and Lenovo S10 to stores nationwide. Best of all, they will only cost $199.99 after a mail-in rebate, but you must sign up for a two-year service contract.

The big thumbs down on this deal is the fact that contracts are priced at $40 a month for a 200MB plan or $60 for a 5GB plan.
