Being someone who appreciates and accrues a lot of gadgets comes with some pitfalls (the main on being loss of money); not the least of which is the inevitability of the fact that one day, you will break your gadgets. We take many precautions, from buying protective cases to gingerly holding each precious piece of electronics like a baby.
Sometimes it's unavoidable, such as Apple's current ordeal of having to pay out over $22 million because of scratching iPod Nanos.

Good news for Europeans tired of overhearing music coming from other people's headphones: the European Commission is planning a proposal to limit the decibel level of new personal music players. The proposal — which came after a study revealed that one in 10 listeners will suffer permanent hearing damage — suggests that a default volume be set on all music players.
Their study found that noise exposure should be limited to 40 hours of music a week at 80 decibels — about the noise level of a busy street.

Just like a majority of celebs, I love using gel cases to keep my BlackBerry nice and protected. Although I do have one complaint — they have a tendency to rip and tear after prolonged use. Thankfully a company called iSkin has come out with BlackBerry Curve cases and iPhone Cases that are slim and flexible, yet offer the shock absorption of a hard case.
