Google Task Lists Can Now Be Shared

I think similar to my email, my Gmail tasks list needs to be gone through so I can delete some of my old to-dos! Everything from travel memos, to daily lists and reminders, my tasks certainly help to keep me organized!

Being able to move items to different lists is a great help, but now I can email a list to friends with Google's new email task list option in the Actions menu.

So now if you're planning a party and your friends want to help with all of the preparations, you can easily send them the party planning list!

New GCal Tasks in Action

The other day, I briefly mentioned how Google was rolling out task list functionality within Google Calendar. Today when I opened my GCal, what beautiful option appeared? It was a lovely task link for keeping my to-dos and calendar items in one spot. Now you have the ability to conveniently manage your to-dos in your Gmail account as well as in your Calendar - I guess this means I am one step closer to kissing Remember the Milk goodbye.

What's great about GCal Tasks is that you can enter items that have due dates, and they will automatically show up in your calendar. When a task is finished, you can click its check box and you can sort tasks by due date under the Actions menu at the bottom of the list. Tasks are draggable and droppable, just like items in your GCal.

Could you imagine attending a wedding online? With so many couples finding love online these days, it's no shocker that there are actually wedding ceremonies which allow "virtual vows." This year's Fan Faire in Las Vegas will host the first-ever live and virtual wedding ceremony for a couple who are huge fans of the video game EverQuest II. During the ceremony they will both simultaneously exchange live and virtual vows through their EverQuest II avatars via computers, which will just so happen to be joining them at the altar. Trendhunter, says it just isn’t enough for the couple to exchange "I do’s" in the real world, because then their virtual pals would be missing out. What are your thoughts on this?
