The Contort Hub ($35) is a flexible accessory designed to plug into your computer's USB drive at any angle necessary, bending to accommodate up to four USB connections.
Keep Cables in Check With the Bluelounge CableClip

Although Spring is the perfect time to declutter and organize your life, there's no reason you can't maintain a level of cleanliness all year round, especially when it comes to managing your cables. New gadgets come in and out of our lives all the time, which is why we need to constantly keep our cords in check. Perfectly prepped for the task is the Bluelounge Cableclip ($10), which keeps your cords and cables neat and tidy in your bag or on your desk.

Just wrap your chargers, Ethernet cables, USB peripherals, or whatever in the multisized CableClip (coming in small, medium, and large, in packs of six, four, and two, respectively) and you're ready to go. Pack them along on your next trip, or just keep from pulling your own hair out while on the job. They're cheap enough to keep in stock at home too, so you'll never have to look at that rat's nest behind your entertainment center ever again.

The PowerCurl Keeps Your Mac's Cord Tangle-Free

Until I found this cord management device that is. The PowerCurl Cord Manager ($15) is a square, clip-on device that keeps both ends of your power cord - the thin cord that goes from computer to the square charger, and the thicker cord that plugs into the wall - from becoming a rat nest. It comes in five bright colors, and includes a clip to secure the outlet plug (similar to the one on the MagSafe end).

Prop Your iPhone With the Sleek, Aluminum Xstand

I keep my iPhone on my desk at work all day long and check it occasionally, but it's been known to get lost under a shuffle of papers, folders, and anything else that finds its way onto my desk during the day. I'm definitely in the market for an iPhone stand, and the iPhone Xstand ($40) from ThinkGeek might be the winner. It's made to resemble an iMac or Apple computer monitor, so the shiny aluminum color theme I have going on my desk won't be interrupted. Plus, the stand's design allows it to be rotated 360 degrees, so you can position your phone anyway you choose. It also provides easy access to the phone's port for charging, while keeping the cord stored out of the way, reducing clutter. Plus, it has non-skid feet, so the stand is sure to stay put, no matter where you place it.

Stash Your Cords With a Colorful Cordie

Clutter doesn't make anyone feel productive, which is probably why there's such a market for all kinds of cord management devices. They're versatile - perfect for any room of your house that has an excess of power cords, charger cords, computer cables, audio cables, and any other unruly cord that needs a little controlling.

Each of the Cordies ($13), which come in four different colors, is made from weighted rubber, which means it'll stay put on your desk. Constructed similar to a coiled telephone cord, each Cordie is under 4 inches long and will store several cords within its coils. And if you use it on your desktop, it's also a great place to stash business cards, pens, Post-it pads, and other office odds and ends, too.

I have always been on the look out for ways to keep my headphone wires somewhat organized in my bag, or wherever I place them because no one likes taking any amount of time away from their musical entertainment because they had to unravel or detangle their headphones. I mean, really . . . how many times have you just wanted to pop in those headphones and press play, but you were thwarted by the intricacies of detangling your headphones? Sigh. So upon one of my many visits to The Container Store, I came across these lovely items.

Normally, I never trust any type of magnetic fastener when it comes to paper. But after seeing this site and their cable ties, I thought that maybe this Container Store item will be the salvation to detangling freedom. And boy was it ever! I love how the clips are bright in color so it also makes it easy to find my headphones, and the magnets are pretty strong that they don't unfasten.

Have you discovered a great, geeky item you don't think other people know about? Share your photos, news, reviews and tips in the Geeky Things I Love group and your post could end up on GeekSugar!
Manage Your Wires While Working Out

Music is often an essential for a good workout, but managing those wiley wires from iPod to earbuds can be a pain. Many companies are brainstorming some creative solutions to manage your gadgets while you get your heart rate up.

Gracie Gear, one fitness gear innovator, recently sent me a Short Top ($36), a wicking sports bra with a pocket. The pocket is large enough for an iPhone, and it has small hole in the pocket for your iPod cord to feed through and a flap on the shoulder to manage the path of the cord. You can also use the pocket to stow your keys and a sports gel - the pocket can hold both along with your cell phone or iPod. Kind of an ingenious plan for running hands-free, but not the most supportive bra I have ever worn.

The Magneat ($15) is designed to keep your earbud wires from distracting you while you're on the move. It's made of two magnets that stick to either side of your shirt, creating a secure attraction and looking like a mini yo-yo that you wind your excess earbud wire around. The top magnets are decorated with fun images too; as you can see Magneat sent me one with a pixelated skull, but there are many other designs to choose from, including a PacMan. This little gadget is actually kind of neat and certainly kept that darn cord out of my way.
