Conan O'Brien Is New to the Flip Video Celeb Crew

Just when I thought I had included the best of the best in my stars flipping out with their Flip video cameras slideshow, none other than Conan O'Brien shows off his geekery in LA yesterday.

And who is the adorable subject that Conan is capturing with his ultra-compact Flip Mino? That would be his son Beckett, who was taking a little pony ride in Griffith Park. . . sister Neve wasn't too far behind. Now if only we could see some of that footage on YouTube!

Conan O'Brien Plays the "PG" Version of GTA IV

With millions picking up copies of Grand Theft Auto this week, the game is already coming under fire for its violence and sexual content that can be unlocked by players. Well funnyman Conan O'Brien got wind of this news and actually got his hands on a copy of the new "toned-down" version of GTA IV, which was created in reaction to all the criticism. A must-see indeed!

Kyra Sedgwick Tech Talks With Conan

Just like Justin Timberlake who said he uses iChat to stay connected while on the road, Kyra Sedgwick also confessed her love for iChat on Conan O'Brien recently. When asked how she keeps in touch with her husband in NYC while in LA she said that she prefers iChat over using the phone-"Lets just say I'm really grateful for Steven Jobs, he's kept my marriage together." She also mentions how she hasn't mastered the art of text messaging, thinking that 'lol' meant lots of love instead of laugh out loud-too cute! Check out the video below!

Conan Gets Geeky In San Francisco

Geek god Conan O'Brien has been filming in San Francisco this week and the results have been abnormally nerdy. I wasn't able to get tickets to a filming, but BuzzSugar was one of a short list of people that actually won the drawing for seats and apparently even tried to sneak her Blackberry in. I haven't seen any photos yet, but I'm praying she got something fun. In the meantime, Conan did this bit at George Lucas' Industrial Light & Magic, which had me in stitches. I like that Conan's producer, Jordan, is more of a Star Wars expert than the guy working at Light and Magic, but I love seeing Conan play with the Indiana Jones whips and bring cp3O to the Conan set even more.

Conan O'Brien's Fake iPhone Commercial

Funnyman Conan O'Brien and his crew created a hilarious faux iPhone commercial detailing some of the extra uses of the new iPhone from Apple, including: camera, movie player, remote control, bottle opener, blow dryer, lip gloss, condiment dispenser, cheese grater, treadmill, children's thermometer...the list goes on...and gets funnier.

Conan has always been one of my late night favorites - and a serious contender for Geek of the Week - so I was tickled pink to see this video. Here's to many more...and Steve Jobs, can you think about the hair dryer feature...a girl could use a thing like that.

Tina Fey Talks to Conan About Her Geek Monthly Appearance

Last week, I couldn't help but show off Tina Fey's organizational skils and discuss her extensive Star Wars knowledge. On a recent episode of "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", Tina talked about gracing the cover of Geek Monthly, while funny man Conan insisted he is the biggest geek and should have been the cover. When questioned about her 'geekiness,' Fey claimed that she had a collection of Star Wars figures as a kid and while other children were out on dates, she'd be at home taking care of all her action figures. She also confessed that her favorite Star Wars character was Princess Leia and that she's hoping to dress her daughter in a Princess Leia costume for Halloween this year-although it sounds like she isn't having much costume success! Check out the video below. The geek talk runs from 4:28 minutes to 6:40 minutes, although the other parts are funny as well!

Does Your Internet Use Affect Your Sleep?

Your late night Sugar Network visits and Conan O'Brien obsession might be the reason why you feel like you don't get enough sleep. According to a new study, people who spend time at the computer or watching TV before they count sheep may feel sleepier than those who don't.

The study, which was conducted by Dr. Nakamori Suganuma, of Osaka University, Japan, found that even though the tested subjects slept almost as long as people who spend fewer pre-bedtime hours in front of a computer or television screen, they still felt tired. Up to 38 percent of the respondents of the study listed accessing the Internet far into the night as a possible cause for their sleep disturbance, while about 25 percent said watching television far into the night caused their sleep problems.
