Samsung Presents The Ultra Slim Pink Mouse

Judging from this picture, Samsung's new ultra slim mouse is as long as the average index finger, and I've been told it only measures eight millimeters thick (hence the 8.0 model name). This pretty in pink mouse comes with a scroll wheel that can operate horizontally and five additional buttons. At present, they've only hit the Korea market, although I guarantee they'll be worldwide in due time. Not the most comfortable/functional mouse for everyday use, but just like the extra small Kensington wireless mouse, it'd make an excellent travel accessory!

Love It or Leave It? Hamburger Computer Mouse

Talk about a mouse with a serious make-over! Just looking at this colorful Hamburger Computer Mouse makes my mouth water. I'm curious to know how big your hands need to be to operate it and if it comes with a fry and shake on the side. For $20 this might be the perfect gift for a child- just make sure they don't put it in their mouth! What are your thoughts? Cute? Yay? Nay?

I'm all about function with it comes to technology. Does it work? Will it end in disaster? Can I rely on this device? Does it do something truly exciting? And so, I cannot honestly recommend this selection of animal mice for any other reason besides their cuteness.

But boy, oh boy, are they cute. My favorite of the pack is the Kitty Optical Computer Mouse, which was designed by Swiss manufacturer Pat Says Now. The $38 three-button optical wheel mouse features USB connection and works for PC and Mac.

Geek Tip: Control Your Computer From Anywhere With an App

There have been those times where I really needed some info off of my home computer but am nowhere near it to access it. Now with my iPhone and a spare $25 for an app, I can! The app is called Jaadu and like a magic wand, it allows you to access your home computer from anywhere in the world. An easy setup lets you control your mouse on your Mac, Windows, or Linux home system, and modifier menus let you control up/down/left/right arrows for easy navigation. Plus, there's a cheaper version that comes with less features, so if you just need to peep a few files, $1 should get you there.

Yuck! This month's Marie Claire pinpoints the dirtiest things on your desktop, and what were at the top of the list?

Your mouse, at 846 germs per square inch, and your keyboard, at 719.

It's not that shocking considering that these are the two things you constantly have your hands on all day (minus points if you, like me, ever eat at your desk). And if you ever sneeze or cough with your hand over your mouth while sitting at your computer, you can't always get up and wash your hands right away - but the polite move of covering your mouth just became a germ-spreader when you put that hand back on your mouse and keys.

Are you a little bit leery to click and type now? Bust out some baby wipes and use my other gadget cleaning tips and keep your area germ free!

Lucky Charms, Xmas Ornament, or Computer Mouse?

These star and strawberry mice look more like something you'd hang from a Christmas tree or even put in your mouth rather than connect to your computer! I guess there's nothing stopping USB wackiness, but could you imagine using one of these mice as your everyday mouse?
