We all know that limiting our time in the sunshine will protect us from exposure to harmful UV rays. But did you know there's a product that attaches to your cell phone and will tell you how strong the UV index is?
Featured on Gizmodo and Techie Diva, these direct from Japan cell phone charms start out being white and will change color as they absorb radiation from the sunlight.

When I saw these tiny cute Hello Kitty cell phone charms on Chip Chick I couldn't help but add it to my list of favorite Hello Kitty accessories! Trust me, these charms are small enough that they won't scream "I'm obsessed with Hello Kitty," but in all honesty, does that matter anyway? They are priced at around $13 and come in a pack of six different colors so you can mix and match.

I was never a charm-bracelet girl, but when I was a kid I was jealous of girls who were.
I liked the clink of the charms and I loved seeing how each charm they chose told a story about the girl wearing it.
If you're a geek girl, then, with an affinity for charm bracelets then this At Charm ($15) would be your charm that tells the world of your love for tech.

Pac-Man updated to drinking age! These handmade Pac-Man Wine Charms use characters from the vintage arcade game to make markers for wine glass stems, which is mucho helpful during a party.

I stumbled on this mirror cell phone charm at one of my favorite Japanese discount stores a few weeks ago and still can't get over how cute and funny it is. It reminds me of the Nintendo DM cell charm (yes, you read right "DM charm") a friend of mine picked up for me in Korea last year.
I love that it's kitschy and geeky, but slightly Victorian and whimsical.

If these iPod Shuffle Charms serve no other purpose than for me to think they're adorable and think "squishy" in a baby voice, then they've totally succeeded.
At $4, you could get a few and attach them as charms to your cell phone or wherever, or just have them around, since the seller says they are meant for those who love kawaii, and kawaii they are indeed.

Obsessed much? There's a level where your addiction to gadgets becomes unhealthy and a little weird, and that may be when your friends suggest that you and your fiancé use cake toppers that depict the bride and groom with cell phones, or it may be when you start building jewelry with precious, mini versions of your favorite gizmos.
Not as expensive and therefore not as nuts as Tiffany's $1,500 Camera Charm, this sterling silver Cell Phone Charm is $80 and starts a charm bracelet for someone who has a hard time being disconnected.

I'm not typically the kind of girl who is drawn to Tiffany & Co., but when they make such a geeky item, it's an obvious play for my affections!
This Camera Charm Bracelet is 18-carat gold with a little diamond for the lens — that actually rotates. Way too rich for my blood though — $1,500 for the charm alone, and another $1,500 for the chain.

The Miss Broome cell phone and iPod charms bring kitschy fun back to protecting your gadgets sans Hello Kitty, glitter or feathers. The line, which touts a marine and rock-inspired theme and is adorned by buttons and youthful embroidery, is made up of characters like "Two Sloops," "Captain Shivers," "Howdi-Culture," "Howd-Oui," and "Road Howdy," and seem to have a youthful Betsey Johnson influence. They each cost $30 and are 5-inches high and 3 inches wide.
